This little out of the way restaurant was wonderful! The service was great. The food was great and we left stuffed. I had the steak and my wife had the chicken. We were both very happy with our selections. This place is worth the drive down from Bend. It was a birthday dinner that I will never forget.

It was our first time there! the view at sunset was beautiful! The whole atmosphere was so special on the grounds alone! Fun to go early and snap pictures and just enjoy it! The people there are so friendly! Even on the phone when I made the reservation! In person all staff just welcome you so friendly, share the history... More

A must for your Oregon to-do list. Come hungry and know you will take food home. Rolls and bean "soup" are excellent. We had the steak, and great flavor with 2/3's in the bag to take home. Very nice staff, and a fun adventure.

Great food and plenty of it. Plenty of food to bring home. Stayed the night in one of their cabins, very rustic and clean! Looking forward to going again! They are building new up to date cabins. Well worth the time and money!

My husband and I were here on a Friday night. Quite the drive to get out here, but totally worth it! There were other several bigger groups when we arrived, but were seated quickly. You have to make reservations. The food was amazing, nice down home cooking. Large quantities. They bring them out in courses and we never had to... More

Bring plenty of zip locks or to go containers. Dinner here was worth the extra drive out of the way. The main course is either a whole chicken or a giant steak (no sharing). You also get salad, (amazing) beans, and cobbler for dessert. No alcohol served here, but they have really good tea and coffee. Very low ceilings, watch... More

My dad had talked about this place for years. We finally convinced him to include us. It's only open a few days a week , you have to make advance reservations, and it's quite a drive, but well worth it. Arrive early and play horse shoes while you wait. The steak portions are huge, which accounts for the meat only... More
