The cafe is very small and very cute. The owner uses cloth napkins and mugs that don't match. I had the crab cakes and my husband had the chicken fried steak. The meal was delicious. We have been here before and every meal we have have had as always been very good On April 7 & 15 the dinner starts... More

Wait for it.......I love Fishtails for breakfast for their homemade biscuits and gravy. But this time, I went there for lunch during my Oregon Coast Aquarium volunteer class as it is just to the left when you leave on the Wolf-eel parking lot side. I ordered the crab cakes and ate both of them with a delicious cole slaw. The... More

Well, actually, we were told about Fishtails by someone we met at a campground; however, we are certainly glad they shared this wonderful little eatery. We had breakfast and it was absolutely fantastic. Can't wait to go back!!!

Food was average at best. Pancakes were under cooked. There were four of us an and no one enjoyed what they ordered. Nice people, but would not dine here again.

We had amazing pumpkin pancakes and marionberry French toast. Both meals were absolutely delicious and huge! We couldn't finish either, although this was not for lack of desire! The service is really friendly and attentive also - just what you imagine an old school diner to be like from the movies.

This was ideally situated for us for one of those "we're starving, where can we go for lunch?" dilemmas as we were staying in the Holiday Inn Express right across the road....& it was a good choice. Relaxed atmosphere & decor, quick service, tasty food, no complaints.

Fresh, hot, well prepared omelet. Good coffee. Well prepared and served with a smile. Highly recommended for home style cooking.

Each time we visit Newport we always make a point to have breakfast here. We love the marionberry stuffed french toast. It did not disappoint this year. We tried that and also tried the omelet with hash browns and a muffin. All were good quality and big portions. This little cafe is almost under the bridge on the road going... More

We had the greatest breakfast here! I had the Marionberry French Toast and my husband had the chicken fried steak. I didn't think i could eat the whole thing because it was huge! I did finish it and it was so good I wanted to lick the plate. Husband's breakfast was also excellent. Walking distance to the aquarium and a... More

We go to Oregon almost every year and about 3 years ago we were in Lincoln City and were just driving, we found our self near Depoe Bay and stumbled across Fishtails. When we got home I told a coworker (whom is originally from the Oregon coast) about a place that had the best breakfast so on their last trip... More
