This place is chocked full of gift items, food items, Christmas items plus a cafe. There are three floors to meander through We did not get anything from the cafe but managed to find several items to purchase!

This is a very cute town. There are several antique stores too. The general store has something for everyone. Cards, gifts, toys and more. Fun to browse.

Love this place, the owners are super nice. It's my parents favorite spot to eat lunch and since they don't drive anymore my husband and I bring them to lunch about every other week. It's hard not to buy anything they have a lot of cute things to buy.

As a rule I dislike shopping. However, there are times when my husband and I come across a "nifty" store that is just too intriguing to pass by. That's Troutdale General Store. It's an eclectic collection of items that will make any souvenir hunter happy. Unfortunately, we got there about 30 minutes before they were going to close, so we... More

Every time we visit Portland we have to go to the general store for my husband to get the licorice ice cream. Can't find that flavor anywhere else and it is so creamy and delicious. I had the lemon pie ice cream and it was very good. We love shopping for unique items you don't find elsewhere. If in Troutdale... More

Literally!! On a 100 degree day here in the great Northwest we decided to take sister and her hub to dinner. Tad's is east of Portland up the Gorge (Hwy 30) out of Troutdale, Or, and on the Clackamas River. A gorgeous drive along the river, and a favorite swimming spot, the hwy is treed and parts are a National... More

This is a quaint little store with an old town feel. They sell some cool stuff too. Its just fun to grab a moon pie and browse the store. If you are looking for old fashion style toys and or candy, this is the place. Love it!

The Troutdale General Store is an eclectic general store locked in a time warp. It is filled to the brim with retro Americana from decades past. There is also an early 1900's style soda fountain. You can find it at 289 E. Historic Columbia River Hwy, Troutdale, Oregon 97060. There are tables in the soda fountain area that serves ice... More

I've made it a point to stop at this wonderful store on every visit I make to Oregon. The owners and staff are amazingly helpful, the store is backed to the roof with fun gifts, yummy snacks and good chuckles. Make it a stopping point before you head to the hiking trails or further out to site see. Enjoy

Thank Tina K
