My family and I spent the morning on the sports fields, arriving at VI cold, tired and wet. We were treated to a hot and DELICIOUS meal that hit the spot and gave us our energy back. The coffee was hot and free flowing, the food was hot and tasty, and the pie was a welcome dessert. No dinner was... More

Best food and service and value in area. We wish there was another Village Inn in NW Portland so we could visit more often.

Village in has taken quality food and excellent customer service and made it their standard. Even in a packed restaurant my food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly.

My family loves going for breakfast where they serve pancakes made from scratch. The staff at our local Village Inn in Tigard is always friendly.

I ordered a omelet and it came cold and very runny. The waitress dropped off our meal and never saw her until she dropped the bill. When she noticed that I had not eaten my omelet I told her that it was cold and she said do you want me to heat it up. By then my husband was finished... More

I am sorry to hear about this experience, I will be sharing it with my staff to reinforce the importance of checking up on our guests. I would be the one to take the blame because it sounds like we weren't properly staffed and for that I apologize. I hope this doesn't keep you from coming back to see us.... More

Food was good as was the service. The host met us at the podium with a smile and a friendly greeting. The server was very attentive and on top of her game with always checking in on how our food was tasting and insured that water and other beverages were full. Coffee was hot and fresh and breakfast was hot... More

I wasn't very impressed with the smaller sub-par breakfast. Service was minimal, but the good was fairly quick. A breakfast with coffee is probably going to run you $12-$15/person which is that much different than some of the much better restaurants nearby. The Village Inn is ok, but it shouldn't be your first choice.

Thank you for the review, and I'm sorry that you weren't very impressed. Can you elaborate on the smaller sub par breakfast and maybe an example of one of the nearby restaurants that serve larger more quality breakfasts for the same price? It helps us improve our quality. Thanks! More

We went there at 10am on a Sunday. It was standing room only but within 15 min's they had us seated. Impressive. The service was right on the entire meal. For as busy as they were, we really expected less and were happily surprised at the full experience. The food is average. Had the chocolate chip pancakes....rather bland, couldn't find... More
