What was a great day of white sand, warm water, and lunch/drinks, ended as a shock with a $1900 tab!! Be on notice! While we asked over and over for a menu, and asked why the bartender wasn't keeping a tally of our drink orders, we were assured "no problem, we will make you something special for lunch." They told... More

Dear John Thank you for your review. We are saddened to hear that your day did not end as well as it began. During September and October Sandy Island is closed for regular business and we only open by request for group reservations. During this time the restaurant charges a booking fee and serves a limited prefix family style menu,... More

Gorgeous views, fantastic food - large portions easily sharable if you re worried about cost- and a fun little island. It s a don't miss experience. But be aware, the local islander that runs the place is gonna do everything he can to overcharge you in every way possible once you re drinking. He ruins what would otherwise be a... More

The island is lovely, but I paid $85 for some very mediocre food. I'm not sure how these places get away with doing this, but I think the rum punch is so lethal that the food is secondary! Definitely go, but not if it's a windy day. That will detract from your experience. And, if you can bring your own... More

We were Lucky enough to be there in low season. All together were only about 11 people on the Island. They said as of November there will be sometimes 200 people there. Not a cheap option, but a nice island.

Amazing views coupled with tasty food and a good price make this a very worthwhile visit, if you're in the area!

We just came back home from a 10 day trip to Anguilla. We've been going every year for the past 5 years. This year, for the second time around we took the ferry to go to Sandy Island. It's definitely a nice trip there. It's a cute little island, water is beautiful. The first time around (2015) their rum punches... More

1. You want to wait 2 hours for your food 2. Over pay for that 2 hour wait. 3. Stand in line for 20 minutes to get a drink. 4. Literally be stuck on the island until there is a ferry or they have room on the ferry. 5. Anguilla has beautiful beaches everywhere, stay away from this one.

The food is okay but it is way too expensive. We pre-ordered our food so didn't realize that with four kids and two adults would be walking out with a $300 check. We did have one rum punch and it was great.

This private island is open daily for lunch and very easy to get to on their ferry that runs every hour for $10 return. It gets windy so bring a hat! This island is super chill but get there early and get your lunch order in as it gets busy as the day goes on (you can schedule when you... More

We took a Catamaran ride which stopped at Sandy Island in Anguilla. What a special place! We met the really nice and friendly owner (who moved here from New York). Had some drinks and sampled their wonderful coconut shrimp. They serve a full lunch too. What a special place not to be missed when vacationing in Anguilla. Definitely worth the... More
