We are great fans of Danny's Pizza. This is a place like the old time pizza parlors. Nothing fancy but great pizza and good service. We tend to order the xtra large pizza for our family. There is always more than we need so end up with left overs that we devour the next day. Toppings are fresh, the crust... More

We have been away from the area for 10+ years and had to make sure we ordered from Danny's while in town. Just as good as we remembered. It smells like heaven when you walk in there on a cold fall night. Highly recommend the hot Italian sub.

Relocation to Pittsburgh and finding a good sub place has been a chore. Another resident tipped me off to Danny's. Boy, what a good find. I tried the one on route 51 and it was good. But I suggest the Danny's on route 88. Outstanding is the word. You'll have a little wait but I now know why. They also... More

This place has been around for as long as I can remember. Their pizza is good, the sauce is sweet & the slices (yes they sell slices also) are covered with cheese. The hoagies have some kind of sauce on them that is different than other places. Not sure if I like this. One weird thing is they don't deliver.

Italian hoagie is delicious. Both square cut and traditional cuts are equally desirable. Wings are average. Good variety. Great for a quick family take out. Sometimes difficult to find a seat for eat in.

This is a must-stop while in Pittsburgh. We can't visit without stopping here at least once. Sort of a non-assuming front and small place, but the hoagies I've had anywhere. The Italian is outstanding, especially the sauce. Fresh ingredients, great bread and cheese melted just the perfect.

This was my first time here. It's small, kind of dingy and doesn't have much seating--maybe four booths, so I think they are better for take-out. But their hoagies are absolutely delicious! I can't vouch for their pizza--my husband tried a piece and wasn't impressed, and he knows pizza.

Danny's Parkview pizza is the best Italian hoagie in Pittsburgh, hands down. I've had baked Italian hoagies all over the city and none can compare with Danny's. It is the perfect combination of meats, cheeses, lettuce, tomato and onions and their secret oil all atop a perfectly baked Italian hoagie bun.

I'm not a fan of their pizza (chunky sauce) but I love their steak hoagies. I've been eating them for 24 years and they are excellent. Crunchy bread and yummy cheese.
