Really a family place, servers are friendly and remember your preferences. Great breakfasts, throughout the day.

We ate lunch at Hank's place (cash only) following a visit to Brandywine River Museum. We noticed the line out the door on our way into the museum. We briefly waited (less than 5 minutes) for a table. All of the staff were very friendly....More
Quick service, line out the door is not uncommon. A favorite place with good local specials. Opens 6 am!

Hank's has been around forever and when you go you know why. They have specials every day, wish they served breakfast all day, they do have a few breakfast items all day. I've been here at least 10 times. Service and food are always good.
The new owners took over in April and the place is pretty much the same - great breakfast, lots of options and well prepared, We love it here.
Stopped here on a visit to Longwood Gardens. Good homestyle food. Not fancy, but clean and attractive local restaurant. A nice change from all the restaurant chains. Does not serve alcohol but we were told byob is acceptable.
