When you try out a place that has great reviews and you come away with a terrible experience, it always makes you wonder if you happened to have a fluke of an experience. I dragged my family out here one day because I wanted to try Korean food and after reading so many great reviews, I figured it would be... More

Place looks like a dive but serves great food. Had the Bulgogi bimibap food tasted great. Waitress was attentive. Kimchee was OK. Place was let down by the crummy decor and exterior. Go for the food if you like Korean. Menu is not large but food much better than average.

Unlike traditional Korean restaurants, the side dishes (ban chan) were limited to 3, which you had to pay for. The menu had Americanized dishes like quesadilla and wraps. Might become an interesting trend, but not traditional Korean. The basic bibimbap had your choice of additional ingredients; ie shrimp, beef, etc. Kimchee stew was toned down probably for local population. Dinner... More

This IS my FAVORITE restaurant in Chambsburg!! I feel "withdrawal" if I don't go there at least ONCE a week. The Pot Stickers are a MAJOR HIT! If I happen to go there without them, I am REQUIRED to bring them home. I also enjoy the Korean Roll, Japchae, and my VERY FAVORITE is Stone Pot Shrimp Bibimbap!! In fact... More

My husband and I had dinner here tonight. He had the spicy ramen noodles with rice cake and dumplings, and he said it was great. I had the stone pot bulgogi bi bim bop, which was good although the meat was a little dry. The service was as friendly and polite as could be.

This was our first time to dine at the Korean Bulgogi House. The server was very friendly, and explained the menu to us. The food was fresh and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. We brought a bottle of wine with us, and the server provided us with glasses. I definitely recommend this restaurant. It is one of the... More

The three of us decided on Korean during our overnight stay in Chambersburg. The Korean Pancake appetizer was a hard cooked egg based pancake with Kimchi. The pancake was okay but the kimchi lacked any crunch or fire to make it distinctive. The dipping sauce as well just made it less dry. The Bibimbap was the choice for two members... More

The Korean Bulgogi House continues to please! The Korean veggie pancake is a must try! My favorite dish is the tofu stone pot (being a vegetarian), but you can order the stone pot with a variety of meats or seafood too. It's delicious blend of rice and veggies with the spices just right! My husband's favorite dish is the Korean... More

This small restaurant on Route 30 is a gem. The Korean food is authentic, cooked by Koreans. I asked the Korean waitress if the food was typical for a Korean family to eat at home and she said that it was. We tried the Bibimbap and the Bulgogi platters for lunch. Very tasty choices and generous portions for about $7... More

We had dinner there a week ago and while we enjoyed the meal, we are not jumping at the thought of returning any time soon. We had the beef bulgogi and a dinner plate special of ginger pork and spicy chicken. The food was freshly prepared and steaming hot when it came to our table but by the time we... More
