We live in Danville and have tried the place a few times in the past with various degrees of success. We keep trying the place out, in hopes the food will live up to the hype... We gave it another try yesterday, and the experience...More

Wanted a good place to eat, as we drove home to Baltimore. Saw Old Forge rated highly, and it was worth the drive off the Interstate. Great food and beer. Loved the sweet pea and fennel soup. Beer nachos were excellent. Recommend the drive for...More

We ate dinner here and found the place clean, well appointed and the staff friendly. I had a flighty of beer and found most selections a little weak on taste. Our food was served in generous portions. My burger was not properly cooked to order...More

An interesting place in an unassuming town. Bar area very nice. Bartenders very knowledgeable and helpful. Menu is different and original and good. If you are in the area, worth a stop.

The food at Old Forge has become more and more of a disappointment over the last few years. When they first opened, the food was delicious, the menu had a bigger variety of food, and it was very good. The menu now is quite small...More

Lots of excellent beers. Way more than I was expecting for a brewery in downtown Danville. bartenders and waiters were very friendly. Two of us stayed for ~3 hours, drank and ate, got a growler to go, and all-in-all was <$100

The steak was delicious as were all the side dishes. The pretzels are enormous! It was a little noisy downstairs but upstairs was even noisier but that didn't affect our enjoyment of the meal. The building is beautiful.

Visiting area and found it wasn't a busy weekday for lunch. Server was pleasant. Enough options on the menu. Food was good but not awesome. We enjoyed the atmosphere more than the meal. Take a look at the bar and mugs hanging there. Cool, creative....More

FORGED BY HAND. CRAFTED WITH PRIDE. We opened our doors in 2008 with a few goals in mind: - to make the best beer and food possible - to utilize local business, artisans, farmers, and craftsmen whenever possible - to never sacrifice quality for growth Despite the challenges and obstacles along the way, we’ve done a pretty good job sticking to those principles. Going local isn’t always easy, but it’s worth the extra time, money, and effort. It’s better for the community, the local economy, and in the end, all of us. Doing things the right way, rather than the quick way, or cheaper way, is how we operate. It’s real. It’s authentic. It’s Old Forge Brewing Company. When you crack open a can of fresh Old Forge beer or sit at our locally made 500 year old oak bar top, be assured you are in the midst of an authentic American craft beer experience.
