Go for the beer it's very good. The food lately is inconsistent. Service has always been slow, but usually friendly. They have changed the menu lately and not always for the best. The Cuban sandwich on our past visit was so salty I could not finish, the time before that my medium rare burger was well done, they did replace,... More

Not being from the area, we were unsure where to find good food. While staying at the Abigail House, we found this place, which was in close proximity. We were very pleased with the atmosphere and the food. The wait staff was amazing as well!

I've been here many times and the beer is always great. Most recently stopped in for a quick flight and the place was dead for a Friday night. I always think it's strange that they close at 11 on the weekends but our server mentioned that they tried a few times to stay open later and they just don't get... More

This place offers a large beer selection, outside seating during summer and late spring and indoor seating year round. Prices are a bit high for the area. The Ruben is good, although the meat could've more tender. I like their Caesar salad, however for +$8 the salmon piece is extremely small and the result is a small salad for $16... More

My girlfriend and I stopped in for some food and drinks on a Saturday night. It was busy but that did not affect our service. Waitress was nice and friendly. Food was delicious. We had the bacon beer mussels for an appetizer. They were good. I would highly recommend the Jerk Burger. My girlfriend got a Cubano on gluten free... More

Great place to meet friends to have a bite to eat and a microbrew. Their pretzels are delish! They have a nice bar and pleasant seating.

I've been here a handful of times over the past few years and each time it changes a little bit. It went from being this cute little brewpub to moving into an expanded space. The menu just a few months ago was larger with lots of selections. Now it's quite a bit smaller with not so much to choose from.... More

I had the pulled pork based on a recommendation from a local. Maybe it was an off night, but it wasn't very good. The double chocolate stout made up for the food though. Good prices and good brews.

Old Forge Brewing Company is a fun, casual, comfortable brewpub specializing in healthy pub fare and fresh brewed beer. Our country was built on the skills and labor of old-world artisanal craftsmen. Woodworkers, carpenters, stonemasons, ironworkers, blacksmiths, tileworkers, and many others came here and employed the knowledge and skills of their craft in building their farms, homes, and towns.Nowadays, it is so easy and convenient to purchase generic products from big-box stores, that we sometimes neglect to appreciate the uniqueness and quality of a hand-crafted product. At Old Forge Brewing Company, we strive to honor personal craftsmanship. Our hand-crafted beer is made in small batches to ensure quality and peak freshness, while the healthy and delicious menu has ingredients sourced from local farms and markets wherever possible. Take the time to notice our bar, furniture, and fixtures which were all handcrafted by local wood and metal worker Keith Kocher (Lightstreet Custom Woodworking). Check out our unique tap handles carved and forged by local artist/sculptor J. Mark Irwin (Irwin Sculpture Studio), and our plates, bowls, and beer mugs, all hand-made by local potter Mike Hart (M. Hart Pottery). We welcome you to stop by and visit us on Mill Street in downtown Danville. Have a bite to eat, sip a fresh pint of beer, and enjoy the friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Leave your troubles on the doorstep and let us take care of the rest.
