We spent twice the amount that we normally spend on a dinner out but it was well worth it. The food was very good. I had the duck which was plentiful and tasty. The service was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend and would eat here again.

If you want a class event, there isn't much better a place! The servers are the best I've ever worked with, and I've been in the business for almost thirty years! The managers know almost everyone by name & spend the time to reach out to guests as friends! The food is of the highest quality & despite what a... More

Our group of 28 had a pre-selected menu to choose from. We arrived at 7:30 pm and our salads DID NOT arrive until almost 9 pm. Then the salads were quickly cleared, most without being completely finished. Then the main meal choices were served, Cold, or over cooked. Except the Prime Rib, which were all served medium rare. My chicken... More

Good afternoon Dana, We are very sorry for the experience you had at the graduation dinner in the Commonwealth Club. We actually reached out to the host of this party last week and have compensated him for the poor food quality. We have already taken steps to make sure that this same situation does not happen again. While we cannot... More

Like the sign said, since 1714, this historical location is the perfect backdrop for a surprise retirement party for Dr. Thomas Balshi, of Pi Dental Center of Fort Washington, Pa. With plenty of free parking, we settled into the grand ballroom and it was beautifully decorated. The nice sized bar next to the entry way, tables at the ready, the... More

Recently visited for Sunday brunch and thought that our entire experience was delightful. I was concerned considering the hostess who took my reservation a week early seemed "bothered" on the phone. The display, taste, and service were all great and can't wait to go back fif brunch again or a dinner. That is if I can trouble them for a... More

This is our favorite spot to celebrate our anniversary. The main dining room is very elegant with highly professional wait-staff. The dinner options are excellent and they have a prix fixe early dinner option that is a good deal. We highly recommend the Crab Imperial and Snapper Soup; having said that, we have never had a less than excellent meal... More

We went there again for Easter Dinner, after a number of years away. The Inn is (and always has been) a marvel of dining accommodation, with hundreds of families making reservations and being received and served in a prompt orderly fashion. The Easter menu is a bit deceiving, in that the entrees are listed at base prices from $33 to... More

The William Penn Inn is a special occasion place for us. We go 3-4 times a year. Always look forward to dinner there. The service is great and the dining selections are varied and excellent.

We came here to celebrate a birthday and chose to do the Sunday brunch buffet. I have never been here before but had heard it was always top-notch, and of course there's a price tag of $30/person to reflect that. Unfortunately for my experience, it was definitely not worth it. I'm allergic to seafood and nuts, so i had to... More
