Cool atmosphere in an old fire station with historic firehouse photos. The soup and gumbo was great and fairly filling. The salads were filling and had high quality ingredients. Fresh fruit side did not come straight out of a can. Friendly service to boot!

I remember this place being so much better. Calamari app was mediocre. Stuffed mushrooms Judy a bit off. The entrees weren't any better. The service was good, but that was the high point unfortunately. Really too bad because it used to be a downtown favorite....More

We are planning a family get-together in a couple of months. There will be adults and children from PA, MD, MA and VA. I'm searching for a place with a private room to accommodate us for about 3 hours on a Saturday afternoon.. The menu looks good - something for everybody. Is Firehouse a good choice?

I would think this to be a good choice. The staff seemed very accommodating on our last visit, which might help with your family.
