Stop in for lunch. The place setting was absolutely filthy, table, tables were not cleaned from prior patrons. Staff seamed upset because I didn't put my change in this giant tip jar on counter! Utensils white spotted. Air conditioning not working well, heat index outside...More

So glad we made it here on our weekend away! I love that I made the reservation using Open Table- it makes things so much easier. It was definitely family friendly- the restaurant is loud enough that I didn't think our kids (3&5) were disrupting...More

We spent 60 dollars for 2 people and the food was horrible. Eggplant burnt, spaghetti was watery. Way overpriced

This resturant would have no trouble competing next to any Italian Resturant in South Philly. Homemade pasta, Marinara and Bogalusa Sauce started cooking at 5 AM with Scilian secret mix. Italian sausage made in the family tradition not ground but chunky. Where else in Central...More

I live less than 1/2 mile from Piazza Sorrento and we eat here frequently. You will not be disappointed. Food is top notch, as is the atmosphere. Also, try their pizza. The only advice I have is call ahead as they get crowded

My parents met me at the Piazza Sorrento while I was in Hershey for a conference. We made reservations in advance, which did seem to be necessary. I often struggle to find good restaurants--especially Italian--that have any (least of all many) GF choices. Thus, Piazza...More

I do not work at the restaurant. I only booked the room for a dinner with friends. If that is what you want, perfect. If you want a mingling, atmosphere, I would say ask if you can hang in the bar for an hour. Then you... More

Voted "Best New Restaurant" by Harrisburg Magazine in 2009, Piazza Sorrento is a modern Italian restaurant based on the "Old World" Italian recipes of the owner's family back in Italy. The Bolognese sauce they grew up on and the tradition of family is the cornerstone of the Piazza Sorrento dining experience. Dedicated to providing the finest in service, food, and wine at a fair and competitive price, Piazza Sorrento makes regional and classic Italian cuisine using premium local ingredients while keeping the history of the dish and region intact. Piazza Sorrento not only provides the best in authentic Italian cooking this side of the Atlantic, but also believes that all patrons, whether adults or children, should be welcomed like one big family - even those with certain dietary requirements. That is why Piazza Sorrento is widely known for their extensive Gluten Free menu, another reason patrons routinely drive over an hour or more to dine in relative ease and safety.
