This is my favorite restaurant! I come here with my husband for "date nite", but this time I booked a Girls' Nite for 7 of us. They sat us a a beautifully prepared table with menus standing on our chairs and ice water already poured in our water goblets. That was just the beginning of a wonderful evening! They accommodated... More

I have celiacs and this might be my favorite restaurant in the area. My family loves it also for the fantastic Italian cuisine. Highly recommend!

Restaurant was busy! Wait staff did a great job of providing excellent service. The main reason we went was for the gluten free pizza - and beer! Food was delicious!

Been here a couple times so far. The first time I had the Grilled Gnocchi. Excellent! The next time I had the Italian Sampler - Lasagna, Fettuccini Alfredo and Chicken Parmesan. Not disappointed at all. My husband likes the pizza so he got that both times. The salads are very good - I like the ranch dressing and it is... More

First restaurant I can recall with a real GF sub roll for use with toasted meatball or chicken parm sandwiches. The GF pizza also strong with plenty of cheese. Well done Piazza Sorrento!

We decided to go here for our anniversary dinner. While it isn't the fanciest of restaurants, we always enjoy going here. The food was wonderful and our service couldn't have been better Our waitress was excellent and so very pleasant.

Three out of the seven in are group eat only gluten free food. This restaurant not only provided us with gluten free menus, but put out plates of gluten free bread and brought around a selection of gluten free desserts. They also cater to those with dairy free and sugar free needs. Not only were the gluten free folks happy,... More

Description
Voted "Best New Restaurant" by Harrisburg Magazine in 2009, Piazza Sorrento is a modern Italian restaurant based on the "Old World" Italian recipes of the owner's family back in Italy. The Bolognese sauce they grew up on and the tradition of family is the cornerstone of the Piazza Sorrento dining experience. Dedicated to providing the finest in service, food, and wine at a fair and competitive price, Piazza Sorrento makes regional and classic Italian cuisine using premium local ingredients while keeping the history of the dish and region intact. Piazza Sorrento not only provides the best in authentic Italian cooking this side of the Atlantic, but also believes that all patrons, whether adults or children, should be welcomed like one big family - even those with certain dietary requirements. That is why Piazza Sorrento is widely known for their extensive Gluten Free menu, another reason patrons routinely drive over an hour or more to dine in relative ease and safety.
