It is always a delight returning to The Robin Hood whenever visiting relatives in Mytholmroyd or Halifax. This is a proper local pub – cozy, wonderfully quaint and friendly (dog-friendly too) – the kind of which is, sadly, disappearing and becoming but a memory in this country. The staff are cordial and welcoming, the beers are good and the food…especially... More

Great selection of traditional ales and a choice of lagers, snug to say the least but the home cooked food is to die for. Never had roast beef so good and excellent Yorkshires - even the veg was absolutely spot on

Visiting hebden and stopping just down the hill so this pub was naturally going to be our first choice and so glad it was. The locals are brilliantly friendly and funny. The pub is very dog friendly and the food portions are large and very tasty. The chef was incredibly understanding about gluten free. We had a chat the day... More

Called in with friends on our way back from a meal out in Todmorden as the 2 men wanted to try it. It was not for me I'm afraid. Looked like it needed a good clean, landlord was a bit gruff (probably his sense of humour) Sorry won't be back.

They have a WHOLE MENU for chips. Delicious, proper homemade chips - on a sandwich, in a bucket, with cheese, with gravy. Chips galore. What more could you ask for?

We went with friends to this traditional local and were impressed with how busy it was. Half the pubs you go in are so quiet these days. We all had different meals and all enjoyed them. The chips were a bit overdone, but that was the only minor fault. I had the lamb rack and it was the best I've... More
