Having spent my entire adult life eating in up market tea rooms, I can say with certainty that this particular tea room is the finest establishment I have ever graced with my presence. As I sat and enjoyed my humble hotpot I watch the staff expertly turn tables with the sort of grace and expertise that one only finds in... More

from the outside and the name it looked as if it should be just the old fashioned tea shop so we ventured in. A table for two was found and menus given - that's when the service stopped really. Eventually someone came and took our order, 15 mins later realised we had no drinks so came across and said it... More

Love going here especially for the afternoon tea. The cakes are amazing and staff are also very friendly.

I used to hold this establishment in high esteem. But no more. We four sat at recently vacated table. What followed is a management issue since the poor waiter didn't have a clue! The table was not cleaned down & reset, consequently: We had to ask for teaspoons after the tea had been served. We had to ask for knives... More

I used to visit this place for tea on boarding school exeats so was excited to be visiting for breakfast. I visited with my daughter and we were looking forward to some old fashioned quality! I ordered tea with soya milk and porridge with toasted hazelnuts and maple syrup/honey (can't remember). Whilst we were waiting for our food I noticed... More

Fantastic. We just had coffee and tea cake but it was lovely. The coffee pot was brought to our table three times for refills. The tea cake was huge and delicious. Staff were polite. As soon as a table was vacated the tablecloth was changed to another clean, crisp white one. The cakes for sale and on display looked gorgeous.... More

Lunches or afternoon teas (their speciality) are always very tasty and very good value. The surroundings are unique. If you're ever in Amesbury or visiting Stonehenge this is a great place to pop into. You won't be disappointed.

Nice location but they have reduced the number of scones you get for a cream tea form 2 to 1 .......... but still charge £6.95. I always used to visit here, but will not be going back until they do something sbout this extortion!! Unhappy and poor experience :(

Treated a friend for lunch. We both had jackets small, cold and very over priced. Polly tea rooms was always the place to go into but was very disappointed.

What a fantastic place. We had the High Tea with our children. Lovely sandwiches with a generous selection of delicious cakes and such friendly helpful staff . We will definitely be back.

Thank Adam P
