Visited the Olive Tree last night (26/04/17) as a party of 7 for my wife's birthday and we had a great night. Mike and the staff were 'spot on' from the minute we arrived. The Olive Tree had just reopened after a make-over and were running a 'platter style' starter & main course menu which at £25 for 2 people... More

Visited here midweek as a party of four. Was not that busy but the atomsphere was good and the service and food excellent. The black pudding starter in particular was very tasty. Not to expensive and will hopefully visit again in the near future.

After a family day out we found The Olive Tree restaurant whilst having a short wander from the our hotel at Marine point. We were looking for someplace to have an evening meal. The 5 of us all had starters, mains and desserts, The service was brilliant and they was able to accommodate my youngest son who can be quite... More

I would suggest checking out other restaurants in the area if you are eating before the theatre. We booked a table on a Sunday evening for a meal before a Ruby Wax show at the theatre some weeks back. Service was incredibly slow, some of the dishes were no longer available at 6.00p.m , very hard to get the waitresses... More

Visited here a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday night, the restaurant is fairly small and there was a party of 6 sitting in the middle and another party in one of the corners. It was extremely loud and we could not hear ourselves when speaking to each other. The menu is limited and several of the dishes had... More

An acquaintance recommended it to my husband, so we tried it. Parking was easy and the food, service and price were surprisingly good. The specials board featured classic dishes that were simple but beautifully cooked. It's a real find in a part of New Brighton we'd never been before. We'll certainly return.

We went to this restaurant on a family recommendation for meal on our last night in New Brighton. The restaurant is small but pleasant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There was a good choice of starters, main courses and desserts. We have put it on our list to dine here again.

I came here with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. The staff were very warm & welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent too. I had goats cheese croquettes to start and the burger for my main meal. Really enjoyable...won't be my last visit.

Having been a regular at the Olive tree and experienced some amazing food....i arranged to meet two friends for lunch. We arrived at 12.30 and ordered some drinks and three Caesar Salads. After 50 minutes the salads still had not arrived...but when they did we wished they hadnt. Undercooked bacon (why?) Swimming in dressing...and for some odd reason the "chef"... More

We have been regular Olive Tree goers for some years. Love the food, ambience etc. Heard there were new owners and having seen a bit of decline in service and food prior to the new owners coming we were keen to try it out. Went with 3 friends and although food was ok, the portions were small and just not... More
