Went to Washford Mill in Redditch on Saturday 25th March just for my sons Birthday Lunch. I just had a Cheese and Tomato sandwich but wasn't Impressed the bread was stale and never even had butter on it. The kids meals and the adults meals were over priced. Will rather go to the Golden Goose or the Barley Mow next... More

Used to regularly visit the Washford Mill for carvery a couple of years back but it started going down hill. We decided to try it again and found it has got worse much worse! The food was very cheap, poorly cooked - rock hard veg and not very warm. Our table although in a nice enough room was on uneven... More

Went here for lunch with a colleague. There was a sandwich off the board and "stack" was in the title. Being at a carvery and a roast sandwich with stack in the name conjures up a sandwich heaving with meat. What came was the stingiest meat sandwich I ever saw. One thin slice of Turkey on a baguette. What a... More

Lovely building, friendly staff offering good service. Food is always pleasant when we have been. We have tried many local similar establishments and always end up disappointed. Always end up coming back and have never regretted it.

Had a carvary here today but won't return in a hurry. Although we were there early the food wasn't hot. The meat was tasty but didn't look fresh. The staff were friendly and efficient they have a large car park which is good but the inside is shabby rather than chic. Sorry Washford you could do better.

The Washford is a lovely traditional pub with low ceilings, lots of nooks and crannies, and a good choice of ales.It is a sprawling place in which you can get lost if you can't remember where you are sitting. There is a separate restaurant, though you can get bar meals. The carvery we had around Christmas was ok but nothing special. We were having a party... Nice setting but otherwise a poor experience. The waitress was fine but the meat carver was disinterested to say the least. The quantity of meat served was very small, comprising of three very thin slithers including lamb which was tougth and inedible. It was one of those occassions when you ask yourself afterwards why did I not complain at the... More

We had a lovely carvery. We had not booked a table but have been so many times before and they found us a table straight away. There was no long queue so that was good too, and the food as always was very nice.

Would never go back. Meal was below average and very bland. No taste to anything. We could also hear the staff in the kitchen through the curtains swearing and shouting at each other, then running other staff down. Definitely think twice before going there people. £74.00 for a totally horrible experience.

Carvery and value quite good and have eaten there quite a few times HOWEVER without going into too much detail, we put two ten pound notes and some change on latlythe bar. We needed some change so the waitress took one ten pound note and gave us the change for one meal She then went to take the rest and... More
