Looks like it's been closed for a while. We visited Upton on sat 24 September it was closed. We were able to use the outside seating area,cwhich was nice. We carried our drinks from the nearby Plough.

Large pub/restaurant which was closed and we told by locals that this was the case. What a shame. It has a riverside position with a beer garden overlooking the river.

Poor service, had to wait 45 minutes for food when pub was empty, toilets unclean had to use public ones up the road!!!
