We were going to The Grand but needed something to eat beforehand. Apparently despite advertising food a number of establishments fairly near the theatre don't actually serve any but fortunately one of these recommended we try Da Vinci's and we were very pleased with the result. Although this restaurant primarily offers pizza and pasta, there are also other options like... More

Looking for somewhere to eat real food we came across Da Vinci's. A lovely, cosy and welcoming space. Good choice of food. At first glance the place looked like a wine bar but the staff were very friendly and really good with the children. The meals were just what we expected. No frills but really good quality. Decent size portions,... More

Food is usually very tasty. The only let down is that serving staff can occasionally be uncoordinated and slow. They're always very friendly though. Still make for an enjoyable meal out

Food was good, though not amazing. Booked as advertised pre-theatre dinner package however menu couldnt be found. Therefore spent more money than expected!

Nice little place but let down by slow and disinterested service. Took ages before order was taken. Sharing starter was very nice but main course of lamb kebab was cooked within an inch of its life. Real shame as could have been lovely. Also would have been nice to have been offered more drinks and pudding but had enough and... More

Booked a table for last night as have not been for a while Was a bit apprehensive as last time we visited a " gentleman" who appeared to be incharge thought is was acceptable to wear a tweed flat cap whilst serving, a bit strange we thought but then he spent most of the time drinking and chatting to his... Popped in with our daughter for some tea and the service was quick and staff were polite. Felt there was a genuine atmosphere and people actually talked to each other. My daughter had the bambino pizza which was freshly cooked and nice and hot and massive, so we helped her out to finish it (she's only 2) great little place... More

This was once a nice place in Stockport to go and eat and socialise, considering that there are not many places unless you want boil in the bag food in Stockport centre anymore. Right from the start service was poor to say the least!! We were practically ordered where to sit in a very empty place as "no other options... More

I went for my 58th birthday. I'm quite keen on Italian and then to follow with some Robinsons beer. Portions were nice but small, the menu was not extensive and service slowish. The singer was good and played the guitar well. About a minutes walk away was a more conventional tratorria which I suspect would have suited me better.
