We walked to the pub on the attractive Saints Way footpath from Fowey. We stopped at the Fishermans Arms for lunch. This is just a nice basic country pub, with few pretensions. The lunch menu was good, we settled for sandwiches and a ploughmans, both...More

Myself and partner visited here month. We both ordered off the specials board and enjoyed our meals outside. Lovely pub, yummy food, friendly staff & beautiful scenery. If we are in the area again we will be back.

Lovely location by the water, though you don't see much of that inside. If you can get a table outside then that's much better. Busy, even in the early evening, loud staff but friendly. Food was standard pub grub, my "Catch of the day" was...More

We headed for Golant and straight for here on our first evening in the area. We really enjoyed our fish and chips, all tasting fresh and crispy. We arrived just after food was being served (8.00 pm) but they were still happy to serve us,...More

Positioned on the edge of an estuary with a covered area overlooking it. Small with a few tables inside. Friendly staff and pleasant food. Careful of the tides, because the road outside is prone to flooding. Small car park, but plenty of street parking.More

Description
We are a small community pub, located in the quaint Village of Golant on the banks of the Stunning Fowey River.

We have a traditional pub menu that includes homemade dishes, using local produce. We also have a well stocked bar with regularly changing guest ales.

Our patio area overlooking the river is a fantastic place to while away a few hours with a pint and some tasty food.
