A good friendly pub with good beer. It also does good food and other drinks. It also has wifi. Just up the hill from the railway station.

Had a truly delicious roast beef lunch today. Friendly, efficient service, log fire burning - what more could you ask for?

The earl of Chatham is a friendly pub which does very good food. There is an extensive menu with wide selection of starters and mains, but if you fancy something different (we like to share garlic bread and olives before the main course) it is somehow conjured up. The food was excellent, as was the wine and beer, and represented... More

Friends visited this pub and suggested we go. I took my family. Why it is great We went in when there were only three people at the bar. I suspect regulars. They made us feel very welcome. The bar lady did not say much but that did not matter as I felt she made me feel welcome. I drank cider... More

Very good food and customer service. A busy evening in the pub and restaurant, staff still managed to provide a very good service.

This ancient building hosts a St Austell Brewery public house. There is a main bar, with a delightful open fire, a restaurant area and a pub garden. The pub is of small to medium size but it stocks a selection of three real ales from the home brewery. There is a reasonable menu, although food is mainly focussed on evening... More

Looking for somewhere to eat in Lostwithiel, came across this pub with good reviews on Trip Advisor, so thought we would try it. Would definitely recommend! Very friendly and welcoming. Big log fire, cosy and warm. Food very good and we were not kept waiting too long for it. Reasonable prices too.

I love this pub and am quite happy to recommend as a quality eating place. The food is always good. The variety is excellent and they do have a dining area which is great. I went with my father-in-law and family and we had an excellent meal - there were 12 of us and they served all of us on... More
