My wife and I have been regular visitors to the Duchy Nursery & Café for about five years. The staff are very professional and always welcoming especially in the café even during the busy periods. A stunning location with a great atmosphere. Simply a wonderful place to visit.

to call this nursery a garden centre would be a total travesty, the location, lay out and quality of the plants are outstanding, the staff are friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble, the guality and range of plants that are grown on site are very good with some interesting variations

As a regular visitor I can't fault the friendliness of the staff and they always do their best but the service always seems so chaotic and uncoordinated. After sitting there for what seemed like ages we were finally asked if we would like drinks. We ordered a pot of tea. While we were waiting for that someone else asked us... More

The cafe is beautifully laid out and decorated, light and sort inside with some seating outside. The cakes on the counter looked amazing and the lunch menu had a good variety of meals. The scones, teacakes and sandwiches were all delicious and fairly reasonably priced. The service however was shocking. On arriving, there was 2 other tables and 4 staff... More

Just a visit to buy plants in which we were successful but were tempted by the array of beautiful cakes. The chocolate cake with strawberries and blueberries was delightful as was the cream tea and very good coffee. This is a lovely place to chill but can get very busy. It doesn't seem to matter on a sunny day as... More

Spent last week on holiday in Polruan and visited this cafe three times after stumbling on it by accident whilst driving to the nearby National Trust house. Superb cafe with excellent food each time and incredibly friendly service. Waited quite a long time for the food on our first visit but they were very busy and we were sitting outside... More

We called in at the Duchy garden centre for lunch and found a seat outside ,there wasn't a queue so our expectations of being served in a reasonable amount of time were to be honest high. HOW WRONG WERE WE ! After ordering ang receiving our drinks quite quickly the rest of our order took over an hour to get... More
