This is a favourite place of me and my hubby to eat delicious freshly prepared food whilst taking in the stunning views. The staff as friendly and attentive. Nothing is hurried and the atmosphere is very chilled. We don't live a huge distance from here so we feel quite lucky to be able to pop in once in a while.... More

Needed a drink and a snack after a long walk. No draft beer but bottles of Doom Bar for £4.50 (£1.50 in Sharps brewery shop 2 miles down the road). Prices were steep but view was great so we ordered a crab sandwich and a roast beef sandwich for £12 and £10 respectively. The crab sandwich was actually a lettuce... More

Lovely friendly staff and an amazing hot chocolate! Very dog friendly and supporting local producers such as Dorset teas and Cornish orchard soft drinks.

We visited here after a disappointing visit to the Rock Inn . This is now well and truly our favourite venue in Rock. Dog friendly (genuinely) ... unlike the Rock Inn This even has a doggy menu. Coffee and cakes were fantastic and great service . We look forward to being regulars here

Very good selection available and very good quality and value in pleasant surroundings although it was a bit cold in some parts of the restaurant. Best to sit indoors if possible and you need to like dogs if you visit this restaurant.

Yet another top class lunch stop. After walking the beach from Daymerbay to Rock stopped for a quick bit to eat. Beef sandwich for 2 stunning with tea. Expensive but perfect. Again no better place to eat. Try it you will not be dissapointed.

A friendly cafe serving excellent food. Dogs allowed. Great coffee. Beer and wine available. We stopped off for lunch and enjoyed fish and chips. Big portions and really tasty! My dog enjoyed a sausage from the dog menu.

We walked from Polzeath to Rock on a sunny winter's day. The Blue Tomato is a favourite and their milkshakes and cakes are to die for. We settled down and I went off to find the loo. It was occupied. There is only one loo for the cafe - staff and customers use it. I was therefore shocked that the... More

Fantastic Italian Hot Chocolate, incredible cream teas and good service. The place is busy but well worth a visit. Dog friendly and heated outdoor seating for winter.

Thank Andy R
