As you pull up this pub looks like any old village pub but on entering its like a tardis. Lots of little rooms with log burners and a fantastic atmosphere with lovely staff. The food was fantastic and such a find only a few miles from Perranporth. Bistro pub food with a specials menu and an extensive puddings board. I... More

Well you a certainly in for a real treat when you visit this quaint pub! Very warm welcome on arrival, a great varied lunchtime menu and more on the specials board. Dog friendly (they can sit alongside your table) outside seating and a beer garden at the rear. The food was prompt! Hot and delicious. I'll definitely be having a... More

A very friendly pub, with great food, varied menu and good portion sizes that are reasonably priced. The service was great and they were very family friendly with young children.

On holiday in Cornwall we saw this place in the good pub guide so visited for lunch on Monday. On entering the bar with our two dogs we were immediately greeted with a very warm and friendly welcome. The food exceeded our expectations and the service was exceptional. As we were celebrating our wedding anniversary my wife and I were... More

When you see the sign on the B3277 expect a long drive. We were worried we missed it but persevered and finally came across it. So glad we did as the place has an old world charm and very welcoming. Can recommend the steak and ale pie!

We've been to the Miners once and we really liked it. But this time was a disappointment from the starter to the desert. The "prawn cocktail with Marie Claire Sauce" ( starter) didn't deserve it's name! The prawns surely weren't fresh but bought at one of the upcoming German supermarkets! The sauce was surely not homemade but probably also bought... More

We followed a walk in a guidebook, from Perranporth and ended up at 'The Miners Arms' for lunch. The menu was interesting with lots of specials and we ended up having a lovely lunch. Having been very disappointed with the eating establishments in Perranporth, it was a welcome surprise and in fact we ended up returning for a lunch later... More

Having read all the great reviews I was slightly disappointed with my meal - chicken pie - from the specials menu. It was fine, but the puff pastry lid had shrunk and was very flaky and didn't really add much - I would have much preferred a really nice shortcrust pastry lid. The pie filling was tasty enough, but not... More
