We went for an early dinner on Friday 11th May. I had Duck for main and my partner had a chicken curry. Both were excellent. We shared a brûlée as we were just too full - it was lovely too. The service was excellent. More so because I left my scarf in the restaurant not noticing it was missing until... More

I've been wanting to dine at Josh's for quite some time. I was very pleased, it certainly lives up to it's reputation. Very lovely setting, great friendly service and exceptional food.

There was a group of 8 of us who were supposed to have lunch at the pub, but after a quick walk through we decided it was best to give it a very WIDE berth and ended up at Josh's instead, and what a fortuitous turn of events it was! The food here is amazing and made even better by... More

Dined here at lunchtime with friends. From the minute I set foot in the restaurant I knew we were going to have a great meal. Good attitude often delivers good food. The prawn starter chicken curry and chargrilled trout for mains were all winners. Well done guys on a great experience. Not great pics but a clean plate tells the... More

Words really cannot begin to describe how great this little place is. I'll try. Good food. Great service. Nice atmosphere. Lovely wine. Josh always has the time to say hi. A real southern highlands gem. Go back again and again.
