Easter Sunday and there are lots of places closed but the Thai Banana leaf was warm and friendly and full of customers enjoying their dinner. The food smelt delicious when we walked in. My hubby doesn't particularly like Thai food but said he loved the meal we had. Will definitely come back to this place when we next visit the... More

We wanted a quick, tasty meal and we found it at Banana Leaf. We waited just a couple of minutes and our order was taken and within minutes our meals had arrived - they were decent portions and reasonably priced. Cash only at lunch time but credit card is accepted for dinner. It's good enough but lacks atmosphere.

Took four fussy guests for dinner. On entering restaurant you feel it's own authentic atmosphere. A clear wide menu, and service was very good. Our meals were delicious plentiful, well priced and we would return.

The premises are huge and very well kept. The staff were polite and obliging. We just had coffee and toast with was presented quite well. We would like to try a proper meal there one day.

Had dinner for four here the other night. Great food, good service and nice atmosphere. All of the dishes had fabulous flavour and no two tasted alike. Great spot for dinner; reasonably priced.

We decided to eat here after living on pub type meals for the last week. The staff were friendly and accommodating for our babies in prams. The place was traditional looking. It is a BYO service. All of the food was really tasty. If I had to pick the most minimal thing the chips (for Bub) were pretty average tasting.... More

The food was tasty enough but we ordered the duck stir fry and the Thai beef salad. The clearly embarrassed waitress came out and said they had run out of duck. Said we would go for lamb then. They had also run out of lamb. Ended up with a chicken dish which was nice and fresh tasting. The Thai beef... More

Had a great evening with friends who introduced us to this great local Thai, dishes were very fresh and authentic, especially the seafood. It is a very unassuming small restaurant that has a real 'family' welcome.
