Good coffee and a decent breakfast. I like a bit of bacon for breakfast and these guys do a decent bacon and eggs. And that's the good bacon they're using. Right on the Main Street, the cafe is easy to find, with nice tables out front so that you can do a bit of people watching as you drink your... More

Clutter all over the walls, still trying to live off the glory that a prime minister ate there over half a century ago. The place is dated and grubby. Staff avoid eye contact with you and don't offer any attempt at a smile or any form of pleasantries. Hard to work out where you are expected to order and staff... More

VERY retro cafe/diner. Accidentally looks really cool! Food is average but good for a stop-off on a long drive. Staff are a bit off sometimes, but do enough to keep you happy and full

There are little words I can find to describe how absolutely terrible this place is. I have joined this forum for the sole purpose of reviewing this incredibly poor exude for a cafe. 40 minutes after I ordered a sandwich I was rudely told it wasn't available. I had only had one sip of the weak tea by this time... More

Fantastic cafe with original onwers. Lots of history to read. This was a meeting place many years ago for Prime Ministers and other Politicians. The decor is fantastic. I had a lime spider to drink, came out in an old fashion glass with matching straw to set the mood. a must when stopping at Gundagai or even come off the... More

In it's heyday this must have been a great place, but it's now very rundown. The food is average, and the service is slow. I would try somewhere else.

We detoured through Gundagai late one afternoon wanting a break. Found the Niagara Cafe open and ventured in to this Art Deco time zone. The milkshakes were served in original metal canisters - simply the best and well worth detouring through Gundagai to enjoy!

I'm Not even sure how to describe my dining here. We walked in and the first thing we heard was a man cursing (using the C word loudly) and it seemed that he was family of the staff. It was uncomfortable dining seating wise but also due to the disturbing atmosphere. I felt really sorry for the other people in... More

Although I was struck by the history of this cafe, we stopped by for a regenerating coffee but it was almost undrinkable. Perhaps we caught a bad day, however disappointing.
