Have been to Kangaroo Valley twice and both times we ended up eating multiple times at this restaurant or getting take away. Seeing as it is one of the few places that does take away in the village you might expect it to not to be so great but the food is really nice, very authentic and you can request... More

Great service, lovely young waiter, fantastic food. I highly recommend eating outside, weather permitting, beautiful fresh mountain air and lovey looking out on the trees.

Rural Asian restaurants, I have found, are often a bit iffy. Jing Jo is not. The food contains all the flavours of Thailand you would wish, with an Australian slant. The results are very pleasing, the service friendly, professional and efficient. I look forward to returning May.

This would have to be one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to and even more surprising to find it in a little country town. Local artworks grace the walls, BYO and very fresh. A must if you go to Kangaroo Valley.

Had dinner on a Friday night while staying at local B&B. Reasonable food for the money. Didn't have the soups on the menu available that night, then chose 'mixed entrée, but have had better. The prawn special was OK, but nothing 'special'. 2 entree's, 2 mains, rice and bottle of Oyster Bay wine was $97

Visiting friends we dined at this local restaurant. My wife and I were a little apprehensive having previously experienced Asian cuisine in country towns/villages. Our apprehension was quickly dispelled. We ordered the money bags and fish cake salad for starters followed by Pad Thai noodles, roast duck and ginger sauce and fish fillets in basil and chilli sauce. The meals... More

Jen & I enjoyed brunch this morning and the Bacon was thick sliced and perfectly cooked and moist. The big breakfast was only $17 and was terrific as was the Hot Chocolate. Although the poached eggs on toast lacked imagination and the presentation suffered as a result. Jen enjoyed them anyway. The owner enquired as to how we enjoyed our meals... More

We visited here for a birthday dinner for two and were very positively surprised. The food is excellent, perfectly cooked, freshly made and healthy. The service is quick and keen. Nice and tidy ambience. Prices could be a little bit less, but food quality is excellent.

Jing Jo has operated for years because David & his partner really know what they are doing. They prepare delicious Thai dishes to suit every palate from mild to spicy. We particularly like the curries, but the kids in our group always love the starters best (spring rolls, curry puffs, money bags etc). Servings are generous and perfect for sharing.... More
