This restaurant is in a great location but when 4 of us came in for breakfast we noticed a lot of half eaten meals so we just got takeaway coffee and banana milkshakes. Coffee was average but the milkshakes were a joke and handed to us in small coffee cups. We were in a bit of disbelief when the takeaway... More

Food is ok, but for the price it's not worth it. The coffee is poor. On my breakfast they forgot the sausage and they must of microwaved it as the skin on the sausage was not cooked and it was still cold in the middle.

What a waste of money. Very, very average food (being kind) Over priced for the standard of food. Steak over cooked & poor quality. Male server interrupting conversation & lacking general manners. Not a place to go if you want to chat with friends uninterrupted. Male server had a very intrusive, arrogant manner.

We had stopped in to Tides years earlier so decided to stop in again for a lunch. It was around 2 pm, cafe was quiet. We ordered burgers and the Hawaiian Chicken burger came with a beef patty AND a deep fried chicken patty. A bit over the top. Fries were fresh and good. We didn't buy any baking.

Love this place Have been with my partner, again with my daughter, and with work. The owner is a great guy from NJ, his want to serve you great food and even better coffee, this is why I return. Order the fish and chips, it's the best in Swansea, sadly this isn't hard, but regardless, it'd still impress if it... More

My sporting team has been going to this place for a few months every Saturday Morning. I don't usually order a breakfast but after watching the others get this scrumptious looking Vegie Breaky I finally decided that I was going to treat myself. I nearly had a heartattack at the price but thought "Why Not". Unfortunately for me and the... More

have been to this place a few times the food is usually great, but I ordered a chicken dish and was served chicken that wasn't cooked properly, I was offered a replacement meal straight away but given a refund after ten minutes, finally a waitress asked if I wanted a replacement meal, it was handled quite poorly however they have... Lovely cuppa, gorgeous view, friendly service and a lovely gf citrus start. That's a big plus. Don't know about the meals, but for our purpose it was very good.

Thank you Tides Cafe & Restaurant for providing the best coffee in town. The extensive menu is fantastic and reasonably priced. The staff are always very friendly and willing to assist in any way they can. We visit regularly and have never had a problem. It's definitely the place to go in Swansea.

Thank Loretta M
