The Farm to Table philosophy had such tremendous appeal - I regretfully overlooked the sophisticated food combinations detailed on the on-line dinner menu. Whenever I travel, I've always been able to ask the chef to simplify an entree so that it was appealing to me with my dietary concerns. For the first time, my attempt to order a simplified dinner... From an expert mixologist for drinks before dinner at the bar to an outstanding meal and great service, this has been the absolute highlight of this weeks travel. The attractive venue and great service support this being a place for a locavorian's ecstasy. I had the tartare as an appetizer and the venison main course paired with a fine local... More

There are many good restaurants in Lancaster - this is one of them. If you like upscale, creative food you'll love it. I would not recommend it for kids.

I enjoyed my meal here and had the filet. Presentation, taste and enjoyment were all present. The service was excellent. For dessert try the ice cream sampler.

JJJ satisfies urban palates with farm-to-table offerings. The menu provides farm details about local food sources. Glutards can become gluttons under this roof; I've had gluten-free fried chicken that merited a postcard. Interesting sips and small plates make the bar a favorite spot for Friday cocktails, but the temptation to enter the cozy dining room doth overwhelm. The flawless service... More

This restaurant was located right in our hotel - the Lancaster Arts - so it was very convenient. The bar is very intimate and the bartenders know how to make a great Manhattan. The dining room is adorned with local art, as is the rest of the hotel. Our meal was good. I had the lamb chops which were very... More

I really enjoy this place. I had a delicious lamb meal and tasty mule cocktail. My wife really enjoyed her meal as well. This restaurant prides itself on using fresh local ingredients and accomplishes that with class and to the taster's delight.

Locally sourced food with a creative flair. Menu changes frequently. I enjoyed 3 selections from the small plates menu- a beet salad with raspberries, two soups (delish) and crayfish with grits. Everything was excellent.

This place was fabulous - wonderful, inspired food that is sourced locally, professional service and delicious cocktails. There aren't many better restaurants in the South Central PA area if you like trying adventurous dishes.

Farm to table meals, we thoroughly enjoy. This restaurant certainly lives up to this mode of dining. The menu was full of interesting items. There was a very interesting drink list covering every thing from wine, beer and cocktails. A chef's taste of bisque started our meal. I enjoyed the pumpkin bisque, nice on a chilly autumn evening. My wife... More

During renovations, workers found in the floor beams a signed inspection stamp--November 5, 1890--with the name of tobacco inspector John J. Jeffries. We named the restaurant after him.
