The breakfast is good but the coffee is weak. Horrible order/pay setup, have to dodge tables and people just to order takeout.

I found them here on Trip Advisor, looking for a breakfast cafe. I went on a Saturday morning around 9. It's a cute community breakfast cafe with wonderful music decor and supportive of LOCAL artist work. The service is 5 STAR and THE BEST COFFEE ( Local roasted Covered Bridge Coffee Roasters) and THE BEST Blueberry Pancakes I have ever... More
This is a great little sandwich shop that takes me back to my childhood. It's a good value for sandwich with chips. I love thor tuna salad sandwich. They have all freshly made items. I wish they didn't close so early. Otherwise it's a fun place to see the locals.
The food at the LCH is great. Homemade sandwiches, crips chips, and a lovely Arnold Palmer will always beat the homogeneity of a Panera! Kudos there. However, the hours the LCH mean that it's impossible to grab a late lunch. As someone who works from home during the morning and ventures to a coffee house to eat lunch and work... More
Langhorne Coffee House is a very popular spot for breakfast. We stopped by on a weekend and were lucky to get a table inside relatively quickly. Coffee is self serve and very good. The pancakes were nice and fluffy, albeit I didn’t try any of the awesome sounding ones with Fruity Pebbles or Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Unique combinations, and a... More
Thank you for the outstanding review! We look forward to serving you again soon! Next time try the LCH Cakes! You will love them!! More
We live nearby, and this is one of favorite weekend places -- if we can get there early enough. It fills up quickly with locals and people in the know. It's a small café/coffeehouse in an historic building. They have outdoor seating starting in spring. The coffee is self serve with about four varieties. And instead of getting the check,... More
Thank you for taking the time to write a 5 start review! I am always happy to here you like our east coast meets west coast vibe at LCH. We offer bottomless coffee and don't drop checks at the table so you don't feel rushed at the table to hurry and pay! We look forward to serving you again soon! More
Although the place borders on tiny (though they do have outdoor seating in good weather) and you may have to share a table with other patrons, it is SO worth it! The service is absolutely outstanding, and you can even help yourself to a plethora of fresh coffee should you have to wait for a table. The hubs had scrambled... More
Thank you for taking the time to post this 5 star review!! We love hearing the feed back from the food quality and outstanding serve! I truly have the best staff an owner can ask for! We look forward to serving you and your family again soon. More
Recommended by a local, we entered to be warmly greeted. This is a small place, but there is plenty of room. They had just reopened after some renovations and everything was neat and attractive. You pour your own coffee from a handful of choices and a variety of mugs or the ubiquitous paper cups. The specials that day included 2... More
Thank you for taking the time to review the Langhorne Coffee House. Certainly glad you got to enjoy our renovations when they were so fresh and new! Very exciting times for me after being the 4th owner of this local gem. We look forward to serving you again soon. LCH does currently serve SWEET NOTES Gluteen Free Bagel in our... More
My wife found this place when we moved nearby. We thought "What an awesome, cute little place and couldn't wait to try it out. We went on a Saturday in the fall and sat outside. We ordered breakfast and asked for coffee orange juice. We were then told that it was self serve coffee. We thought the waitress was joking.... More
Dear MIke, Thank you for taking the time to post a review for The Langhorne Coffee House. I wanted to share a bit more insight of the "vibe" that we strive for at my shop. I completely understand how you may not understand why our coffee is "self Serving". The Coffee Bar encourages customers to try the variety of coffees... More
I'm updating my review of LCH based on my more recent visit in the fall of 2015. I have always loved the breakfast and service at LCH but had previously complained about the quality of the coffee (see my review from March 2015). Well, LCH recently changed coffee vendors to Covered Bridge Coffee Roasters, and the coffee is excellent. Much... More
Thank you for taking the time to post an updated review for LCH. I am so happy that you are enjoying my new coffee. You spoke ... I listened and took matters into my own hands! I went to learn how to roast coffee last February and launched Covered Bridge Coffee Roaster in May of 2015. I was frustrated not... More
