Stopped in for a nice breakfast the staff was very nice. Tried the buckwheat pancakes they were gummy and tasteless. My wife had the basic pancakes they were fair. Sorry ruthies was dissatisfied.

This is a local eatery along a local highway with excellent food and personable wait staff. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. It's you basic American food, nothing fancy. It is great for breakfast and lunch. It is easy to miss but worth a stop. Seating can be limited but there is counter service. Note: Cash only however... More

Just a great place to go in Ligonier for an old fashioned breakfast. Bacon and eggs, ham and eggs, sausage and eggs are really good. Been a staple along route 30 for many years and I can see why. Highly recommend!!

Super friendly staff, no frills OK food and good prices, just east of Ligonier on route 30, note to travelers, this is a cash only place. Seems to be a hang out for the locals.

We stopped in on Sunday morning and there was a very long line. We were going to go some place else but a lady coming out said the line would move quickly and the breakfast was worth it. She was right. They have buckwheat pancakes that are very good, and great home fries that with a side of sausage gravy... More

Not fancy, but great seemingly home cooked food at an extremely reasonable price! My wife had Hot Roast Beef Sandwich and the beef just about melted in your mouth and the French Fries were the best of the best! I had the Meatloaf, Baked Potato and corn and it was also about the best of the best. The staff were... More

This was our first time visiting Ruthie's Diner. This is definitely your old school classic diner. We were greeted and treated like we were at home. The menu is small, but has your classic, typical diner selections on it. From eggs, bacon, sausage and toast. To grilled cheese w/ your choice of ham and tomato, and they also have classics... More

It had been years since my wife and I had been to Ruthies, so one morning we were looking for a place to go for breakfast on the motorcycle. Ruthies popped up on our search. The locals love this place. Everything is home-made. Portions are large and the price is right. We arrived there on a Thursday morning around 9:00... More
