Got here at 6:15 pm. Parking lot is gravel and needs some stones - many large pot holes - so be careful. The entrance is on the west side of the building. Very homey feel to the place with german accents everywhere. Love that someone painted accents everywhere - a bird sitting on a picture, vines coming out of pictures.... More

Been coming here since I have been a kid. This is a great restaurant that still has that small town feel. Don't miss a chance to eat at the best place in mechanicsburg. I recommend the bratwurst!

A German treasure here in Mechanicsburg. The food is always delicious and the service wonderful. Tried the Jaegerschnitzel and fresh pork roast over spaetzle today (the owner talked me in to it ;) ) and we were not disappointed. Love the items for sale in the store, also. Can't wait to bring family to try :) .

Cozy house that has been converted into a resturant. Service was extremely friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. If I lived closer this would be a weekly stop for me.

We have been going here for several years... a rare find for authentic German cooking. Family run, the pride in their food and service comes though. It's small, the decor is, well... limited, but that's not why we come. The food is out of this world. Highly recommended.

If you love German food, this place is for you. It's like eating in someone's dining room in their home. We have been to Germany and Josie's took us back.

We are German food lovers and have tried lots of authentic German restaurants around the country and this place is amazing! The jagerschnitzel is indescribable and the apple strudel is worth a trip from Detroit on its own! Not to mention the guys working there are extremely friendly and its a family owned, welcoming atmosphere.

As I have been to Josie's may times in the past, I decided to order a cake for my wife's birthday. I went with the Black Forest Cake, and I was NOT disappointed!!! It was the most authentic, homemade, carefully crafted cake I have ever had!!! We had family in town for her birthday, and they RAVED about the cake!!!... More

Josie's is very close to my dentist & I've been meaning to stop in for years. I finally did. I love authentic German potato salad so got a takeout order. I was disappointed with it. The German potato salad at Fraulie's in Lemoyne is much better. I would suggest anyone who likes German potato salad try both to see which... More

Not the biggest fan of the food that I've had during my visits, but even despite it's odd, semi hidden location on Trindle Rd. and the fact that it feels like someone's home, rather than a true deli, Josie's has incredible potential. There aren't many (like, any, actually) German deli's in the Capital PA region so Josie's should buck up... More
