We were biking the Great Allegheny Passage and arranged to have dinner at the White House. The food was fabulous and the service was excellent. The owner was warm and friendly and even drove us back to our hotel. I highly recommend eating here.

Passing through the area about lunchtime, we were pleased to find this and even happier to have such a nice time. Food was really very good and service was friendly and welcoming. Decor is charming country; everything is neat and clean. Tucked into a corner is a cozy bar with full service. Desserts are made on site (we had a... More

Traveling through the area, we asked for a recommendation for a good steak house. The White House Restaurant was recommended. It did not disappoint! To add to the confusion, I must follow a gluten free diet. Many restaurants we dine in look at me like I'm crazy when I ask for a gluten free menu. Not only did the White... More

I, my wife, and two friends spent the weekend in Meyersdale to ride the GAP trail. We decided to go to the White House for dinner. The restaurant is down a side street but is easy to find and has plenty of parking. The owner greeted us at the door, we were quickly seated and introduced to our friendly server.... More

Nothing special but the best choice in Myersdale for a meal. Lots of locals so it must be good if you aren't expecting a fancy place.

The menu and the decor have not changed much over the years, but the White House keeps making good food. Highly recommended.

We stumbled across this restaurant on the recommendation of a local woman we met on the street. Hungry, tired and sweaty from our bike tour we walked to the White House for dinner. They were very busy and slightly understaffed as a result, but we got great service. The food was great! There was a soup and bread bar that... More

Food was delicious and the service was great at this small family run restaurant. Lots of good choices. After a long day of riding the GAP on a bicycle this was a wonderful reward. Very bicyclist friendly. Had the chicken with lump crab. Nice sized portions and side options. Decent wine selection as well. Worth the walk from the center... More

The food is great, especially the pick two or three entrees. Great for people who can't make up their mind. The food and service were both great.

This was just what was needed after a day riding. Had the haddock and shrimp scampi and both her delicious. Service was attentive and the soup, salad and bread that were included made this not just yummy, but a great value. Restaurant also has full bar.
