All of our meals were excellent. 2 had burgers, trout, chicken parm, salmon. Service was good. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Not much ambience.

While a wonderful addition to the community and a fine place overall, be aware that the Vegan Tagine offers nothing more than the vegetable side dish for an entrée. The meal was uninspired, code and unsatisfying. I am getting the impression that the Elk Creek Café has become complacent and too pleased with itself. Plain and simple.

This is a go to destination for central PA. Tucked in a small but vibrant town, Elk Creek Cafe and Aleworks offers something for everyone. "Pub Hangs" on Thursdays with local/regional musicians (my favorite Poe Valley Troubadors are regulars), some great national acts on Saturday nights. The beer offerings are excellent and include IPAs to dark brews, brewed on site... More

Fresh food, great coffee and decent prices. Nice atmosphere. May want to make reservations as it was busy. Waitress was good but not efficient. Highly recommend.

Loved this place. We were there for pizza night which is Wens. Loved the specialty pizzas and the craft beer. Great people in a great place. If you get through this small town you must stop grab a beer and a bite and enjoy some of the locals. Very nice place.

My son talked us into driving a half hour from State College after the game to eat and drink here. Great idea, since we were seated immediately (and probably got to eat earlier than if we picked a State College place). Great beer choices (9 of their own on tab). Interesting choices for dinner. We choice items like soft shelled... More

We stopped here after a Penn State game. Nice stop. No cider for me. They don't offer it. I had the grilled cheese. It was on Texas toast with apples. Good combination. Big space. Signs for upcoming concerts - good mix of music here.

A college friend opened Elk Creek which is the perfect showcase for several of his passions - good beer, farm to table food, and good music. The cafe is located in an old building on Main Street in Millheim. It is brightly painted and local artwork hangs on the walls. The rustic bar stools were made by local artisans. The... More

We were pleasantly surprised to find this little restaurant while at nearby Penns Cave. Good atmosphere although it got hot during lunch. Had the Bahn Mi which was good but the veggies on it were not as fresh as I would have liked. Fried cheese curds were delicious as was the pulled pork. Good food and good value. Glad we... More
