Very nice little place! We stopped on a trip from Pittsburgh to West Virginia. You have to pay attention but it's easy to access less than a mile from 79. The grilled cheese was so good! My boyfriend had the flatbread with bacon and black olives and enjoyed it too. It's all about the bread.

We were looking for a bakery for breakfast and found this one. Be sure to have GPS or you'll never find the place! Granola and baked goods were very good. Staff was not overly friendly, but we were looking for food, not friends. Neat location overlooking a river.

We were passing through and I had read the reviews and wanted to stop. Unfortunately, my son and I were not hungry enough to eat but the menu and everything there looked delicious. I did grab a loaf of the salt rising bread and used it to make grilled cheese sandwiches when I got home. It was delicious. The cafe... More

As before it's delicious.. I try to stop here on my way back home from visiting my daughter in Missouri. I have to travel 1/2 hour out of my way up 79 to go here, but it's well worth the drive. The salt rising bread it exceptional!! Ever bit as good as what my grandfather used to make in his... More

The food here is spectacular. It is made with love. It makes all the difference in the world! I love getting eggs and toast because the salt rising bread is their unique specialty and it has the most delicious texture, especially when lightly toasted and buttered. Their smoothies and coffee drinks are also to die for. But not only is... More

Swing by in the morning or early afternoon! Grab a loaf of salt rising bread to make the best grilled cheese possible, and order a slice of cheesecake (we love blueberry) and maybe a campfire cookie (but leave one for me please!). This bakery is perfection, you can eat a fresh delicious breakfast, lunch, or dessert. And if you choose... More

It's out of the way - but what a find. This small bakery cafe, located in a small town draws a large crowd every time I've been there. Returned today for another maybe-the-best-ever Cranberry Turkey sandwich, and I wasn't disappointed. They start with their soft and delicious homemade bread (ciabatta I think), load it up with high quality roasted turkey,... More

We stopped here a lot when our daughter was a student at WVU as it is very close to Morgantown, WV. It is in a cute little town off the last/first exit in PA-depending on whether you are heading north or south on Interstate 79. The sandwiches and soups and and salads are delicious. The dessert case is always full... More

Our family went here for lunch. It was my first time there although other family members had been there several times. It's an attractive but small restaurant and somewhat crowded because of that. On the day we were there it was too warm to sit outside but it looked like it would be lovely to do so. I was told... More
