This is at least my second visit to this restaurant as part of a group. The restaurant easuly handles large groups with well prepared food, especially various types of sandwiches and salads. The food is excellent, served by a friendly staff. The ambience is great.

Despite some recent reviews, we decided to give the Meiserville Inn a try. What pleasant surprise. It occupies a very historic building and has wonderful ambiance. Is has as the feel of a very nice English Pub in the countryside. Our meals and drinks were a bargain. Food and service were also very good. We highly recommend this little gem... More

We had heard rave reviews and decided to finally visit this local establishment. They had our reservations ready and were helpful regarding our dietary needs (gluten free) but we waited an hour for our food. Yes, they were busy, but an hour from the time we placed our order till we were served is ridiculous. Two of us ordered the... More

We went to the Meiserville with a party of 8. The service was slow and the food was average at best. There were some glaring issues including the waitress telling us that they were out of several items on the menu including crab legs, chicken wings, and one of the soups. Four people in our party got baked potatoes as... More

My husband and I visited on a Friday night and enjoyed shrimp basket and a fish special with crab cake. I also enjoyed a local microbrew (from the Rusty Rail in nearby Mifflinburg). Our food was good and the experience was relaxing. I've been to this restaurant about 10 times over the last 5 years and have had consistently good... More

And, we were somewhat disappointed. We had read the reviews and friends who had eaten here said it was excellent. Perhaps our expectations were too high. We met friends and had a reservation for four. Our table was ready. Service was excellent. Three of us had seafood...shrimp scampi, shrimp and scallops and haddock stuffed with a crab cake. The seafood... More

We eat at the Meiserville Inn every July when we visit relatives in Snyder County. Alyssa's had the restaurant for about 5 years now and is doing a wonderful job. The steak is delicious and the service is top-notch. We had a large group of 12 people and the service (by Alyssa -- it was Wednesday night) was the best.

Alyssa the owner, is excellent! She gets to know people by name, every dish I have eaten at Meiserville has been excellent. My family visits here at least twice a month if not more and will continue to go back. The wait staff is pleasant and all food is delivered in a timely manner.

My husband suggested we stop and get lunch at this restaurant on the way home from T & D's Cats of the World as he heard they have great crab cakes. Now crab cakes are one of my most favorite things to eat. The server was so friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The foods was very... More

My wife and I travelled to the Meiserville Inn specifically for the 14 oz. Prime Rib special on Fridays and Saturdays. Reservations are definitely recommended as the dining room fills up quickly and seating is limited. The special comes with two sides for $20, a decent price. The atmosphere was nice, but I must say that the flawless, laminate flooring... More
