My husband and I love this restaurant. Top notch service and food. The waiters are always pleasant and very accommodating especially for special events like birthdays or anniversaries.

I had the jambalaya. Unlike most cheap versions that you get it was not mostly rice with a few pieces of greasy meat. It was more like a rich gumbo with plenty of meat and vegetables and a wonderful seasoning. My hustband had the chopped salad which was very good. Parking in New Hope can be challenging.
My friend and I recently had a wonderful lunch at Marsha Brown's in New Hope. I've been to New Orleans many times and I can honestly say I have never had better gumbo! It was so flavorful I wanted more. My friend had the lobster/shrimp bisque and couldn't stop raving about it. The soups were served with a delicious hot... More
The interior of the restaurant - set in an old church - is magnificent and very unique. it does get very loud, which can make conversation difficult. Some of the tables are also awkwardly arrange, due to the shape of the interior. The food is excellent. My NY strip, although a bit over cooked, but tender and delicious. My wife... More
Delicious appetizers, and entrees. We enjoyed the strip steak and seafood. The gracious and pretty hostess welcomed us immediately. Our server was excellent, knew when to approach us or leave us to converse. Definitely worth a visit.
Everything we had was great but I would particularly recommend the crab cakes and the bread pudding. Very generous portions. We basically split everything and had plenty to eat. Rebecca was our waitress and very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely worth visiting.
Great Cajun food within a church. The odd painting at the front door - Cherubs going to or fighting in hell was a bit odd -was interesting. The prices run a bit high, but at least it was good.
decided to go in the middle of the week. good choice. not so much noise and not as crowded. been here on weekends and didn't like it. foof is very good .
Every time I visit New Hope I dine at Marsha Browns, reason being I love the place and the food served there. It is a beautiful venue to have drinks at the bar and/or to dine in the restaurant . Class A service, I seem to end up with the same waiter every time I dine there....which is a great... More
We celebrated our anniversary and they us up in an amazing couch table built for two and treated us to rock star service. Set in an old church with a huge mural MB's s truly a spectacular setting. The New Orleans inspired cuisine was fabulous. The Crab Cheesecake app is a MUST try.
