Having enjoyed the incline and views, and was looking for an ice cream. You order through a hole in the side of the building, cash only, list of flavours on the wall. The service was disinterested, ice cream was ok.

Only open seasonally but it is the place on Mount Washington for ice cream. Seating is limited so plan to take your order to go.

My family and I stopped for some ice cream after our trip up the Monongahela Incline. We enjoyed sitting at the tables with umbrellas. My only complaint was no public bathroom.

Maybe the man serving us had a bad night, but he was NOT a nice person. Based on his age, I would have assumed that he was the owner or Manager, let's hope not. We spent $19 on a banana split, and two double scoops in a dish. The portions were so so small. The banana split looked huge when... More

The chocolate milkshakes my wife and I had were average at best. Both of them were more like chocolate milk than anything. The milkshakes were not worth the walk from the Duquesne Incline.

My wife and I spent a week in Mt Washington as our base for visiting Pittsburgh during a fitness event we competed in. When I had finished competing, my wife (who was still yet to finish her competition) guided me to the ice cream shop we had walked by every day and encouraged me to get the biggest treat I... More

we were going back to the hotel after viewing Mt. Washington and it being July- it was hot! We stopped for a couple twist cones and they had fast service and cheap prices. Would definitely go back!

This isn't just an ice cream place, it's like a whole restaurant! They have a bunch of food, and the ice cream is really good. Another thing is that it's on top of Mount Washington so if you want to eat something up there, then go here!

I was visiting from Philadelphia on Fourth of July weekend with my family. After a nice dinner, my daughter and I were craving ice cream. The store next to our hotel closed on Sunday's at 5:00 so we decided to take the incline up to Mt. Washington. We paid $7.00 to ride round trip and we arrived to our destination.... More

This ice cream shop is right down the street from the incline. There is plenty of seating for families in the back.
