Pricey for Pittsburgh... $126 for two, plus tip. Food was very good. Fried zucchini, excellent. House salad had an option of Gorgonzola, which was happymaking. Shrimp scampi, excellent. (HUGE shrimp!). chicken parm just ok. Service was A+++.

I eat here a few times a year and everytime is better than the last. The food is amazing. PHENOMINAL. The best Italian, without a doubt, in Pittsburgh. The service is eh, could be a tad better, there's a few servers there with big mouths, I don't enjoy hearing someone talk about other staff or what they're doing tonight while... More

Chef Joseph Tambellini owns the place. So, it's, no surprise: This is THE place for authentic Italian cuisine. Ditto their wine list which is extensive, diverse, with something for every taste, and pocketbook. This beautifully restored Victorian style home comes equipped with a congenial staff, too! All this compels us to plan road trips that are near to, or pass... More

I was really disappointed with my dining experience at this restaurant. Because of the prices - in Pittsburgh, nonetheless -- I assumed I was going to have a fine dining experience. My biggest peeve is that the entrees are offered with two sides - a salad and a pasta. If you order pasta as an entree they do not offer... More

Our friends that live in Pittsburg took us here for dinner as it is one of their favorites. I ordered the fish special Maki which was prepared perfectly. The burrata and arugula salad was tasty as well. The eggplant ordered by our friend was good and very fresh tasting. The Parmesan encrusted port chop was huge!! Was so thick and... More

The food was FABULOUS! The service was IMPECCABLE!! It is located in a very unique area of Pittsburgh, as well. I most certainly hope I will be able to return every time I visit Pittsburg.

Dinners come with soup or salad. The soup was excellent, The crab cake appetizer was also very good. I had the lamb chops and my son had the chicken. both prepared nicely, the star is the butterscotch pound cake, it's a must

Visiting our son in the Pittsburgh area for the first time, we decided to go by Trip Advisor reviews and selected this restaurant. We were not disappointed. The restaurant was in an old house with two levels for dining. The lower level has a bar, seemed a bit crowded and drafty by the door for eating. Luckily we were seated... More

This by far is one of the best restaurants I have ever visited outside of the NYC area. Every meal was prepared to perfection. At first glance the menu may appear a bit pricey, but every entree comes with a choice of soup or salad and a pasta. It is plenty of food for the money and worth every penny.... More
