We've been to Spoon several times over the past 4 years and while the food has always been good, the ambiance and service at times failed. NO MORE! In September Spoon had a major make over in which they got everything right. The ambiance, service and food are truly outstanding. Let me address each one. Ambiance: They've replaced the tables... Unfortunately, for Thanksgiving weekend, the experience was not that good... The ravioli could not be eaten, the gnocchi,,,were not good, the appetizers ok but not great. Was hoping for more, because I heard that the Chef is very good. Service was not great either.

The food at spoon was delicious. We enjoyed a Thai inspired squash soup, which could have been a little hotter, but the flavors were amazing. The Korean style Fried chicken was yummy and just enough to have a single bite on a sharing plate. Chicken, risotto and veg sides were all yummy . They also have a terrific wine list.

From start to finish, we had a superb dining experience. The service was excellent, quietly efficient and timely. Our waitress knew the menu well including the wine list. The food was creative and delicious. Each dish was also beautiful. They have a deep and impressive wine list. We thought that all the elements of fine dining came together at Spoon.... More

My wife and I were very disappointed with our dining experience at Spoon. We expected much more based on reviews we read. We were seated and immediately the server spent the next 5 minutes describing the menu. I would rather he take our drink order and give us a chance to read the menu ourselves. If we had any questions... More

The ambience of this restaurant is wonderful. The food was very good and arrived to the table promptly. I found the prices very reasonable. I had a drink, appetizer, and an entree for around $50.They offer valet parking for $3, which is nice for those who aren't familiar with the area.

IT did not seem like a place that would have great food when we first walked in, but as they say "so not judge a book by it's cover"! Very good service from Jill, reasonably priced wine by the glass with good selection (corkage $20.00). The blue cheese soufflé was a great appetizer followed by the main courses of chicken... More

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise! We walked in around 7:30 on a Friday night and were able to find a seat at the bar for dinner. The bartender was a gem - made a great cocktail for my husband. I chose to have wine and was impressed by the reasonable, but good selection. The food was outstanding. The scallops... More

The food was excellent. I started with the blue cheese soufflé which was really interesting and delicious. For my main I had a dry aged 16oz ribeye with roasted mushrooms, cipollini onion, Béarnaise, foie gras butter, & demi-glace. The steak was incredibly rich and delicious. The serving sizes were very generous. Service was on point and I very much enjoyed... More

I don't know why we've never eaten here before. We have been in for drinks before heading to Avenue B and liked the space. Oh wait, Avenue B IS the reason I've not eaten here before! One of my fav places. But now I have options! So good!!! Sweet corn ice cream. The last part of my meal, the first... More
