This restaurant's food is so good that when I asked staff at neighboring restaurants about it, the staff consistently said that this restaurant has devoted followers. Of course then I had to try for myself...and now this restaurant has gained another devoted follower.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The appetizer sampler was superb, as was the Shitake Duck. This is clearly a place that makes a lot of people happy, as the place was both packed and festive. We'll eat here again.

All Thai food is created equal? Not really! When I eat at a new restaurant of a cuisine that I have eaten before, I usually order the same dish so I can compare apples-to-apples. No different in this case at Nicky's Thai in Pittsburgh. The fresh Spring rolls were some of the best I have ever had. The chicken satay... More

Very busy place but definitely worth the wait. The prices are reasonable and the place can be noisy. Nice ambience with buddha figurines all over the place. Food took about 15-20 minutes from ordering to arriving. Not a big place so a reservation ahead would help, if you're short on time. The hotel I stayed in provided free shuttle to... More

Wow - we were told about this place by someone at our hotel. The space is a bit tight, but the food was seriously amazing. The food was fresh and well-prepared, with just the perfect amount of spice. Would highly recommend!

Had to wait till it opened at 5 pm, but it's worth the wait! After I ordered the food, it came within 10 minutes and totally met my expectation! I ordered Gaprow Lad Kao with pork and spicy level 6. It came with two fried eggs crispy on the outside and little running in the inside. Perfect Asian way of... More

Went with a client. The food was outstanding. It's a small place, and I wonder how the fire marshal doesn't shut them down at lunch time. I don't know what the max occupancy is, but as close together as the tables are, I have to believe they're over it, no matter what it is. Maybe the Thai culture is more... More

Maybe my taste buds were off that day, but the mint beef salad I had was dreadful. Everything was covered with a chili sauce that I found distasteful. It was neither sweet nor sour....just unpleasant. The beef looked suspect so I only had a piece or two. The tomatoes were squishy, well past their "Use by ....." date. The service... More
