Go for the experience, not the food. For the most part, diner food, except for those potatoes! Service is awesome, but you'll need to stand in line if you come at the typical breakfast times.

Pamela's is most famous in Pittsburgh for brunch and breakfast, so expect a crowd at those time during the weekend. The portions are very generous and the prices reasonable. Worth visiting!

The Strip District location is known for the several trips President and Michelle Obama made for their pancakes. Regardless of your political disposition you'll be LEFT making the RIGHT decision to go there. Also like their corn beef hash/poached eggs.

My husband and I stopped in for brunch. We had the chorizo hash and banana chocolate chip hot cakes. They were both delicious and the service was great! Check out Pamela's the next time you're in town.

Funky local diner with excellent food and service. In spite of being packed- we were seated and ordered quickly and the food arrived surprisingly fast. Everything was great but the home fries are amazing
