My dad, who has lived in PGH most of his life, was recently introduced to this establishment by one of my cousins. He really likes it. So, on a recent visit we went for Sunday brunch. Our timing wasn't good, as we were told that the buffet had really been "slammed". Half off was offered and you would still get... More

"Unique" is an overused word, sitting in for "unusual" when it really means "one of a kind". But Zenith is genuinely unique. Vegetarian food (with most entrees actually vegan) served across two expansive, ebulliently decorated dining rooms that adjoin a well managed antiques shop: I've never felt more like I was on a Tim Burton film set! The stuffed pepper... More

This place has something for everyone. Vegan friendly but don't be fooled. I'm no vegan or vegetarian for that matter. All the food and salads are freshly made. Everything was very tasty. The baked goods were excellent as well. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. When I first walked into this place I thought I was in an... More

There is no question this is the coolest restaurant I have been to in a long time. It is vegetarian but meat lovers do not let that stop you. The Sunday brunch was spectacular. The Buffett was awesome...everything from pesto potato salad to peanut noodles to blueberry pie. The main courses from stuffed portabello mushrooms to cherry pancakes were done... More

We went for the Sunday brunch, which I'd highly recommend. Got to choose an entree, beverage and access to the breakfast buffet all for $11.50! The buffet had one whole table of cakes, one with breads, and one with various salads and fruit. More than enough food, and everything was excellent.

Excellent vegetarian restaurant on the Southside. Went for the inexpensive Sunday brunch. Loved everything on the extensive buffet and our entree's. Décor, furniture and table settings are a very-well done funky, eclectic mix. Folks waiting in line with us (get there early for Sunday Brunch) were not vegetarian but are regulars. Will return many times.

Probably the most unique and interesting vegetarian restaurant you'll ever visit. Housed in an antique shop, the most delightful and tasty vegetarian lunches and dinners are concocted from varied veggie combos. I've dined here dozens of times and each time is better than the last and there is always something unique on the bill of fare. The seitan dishes are... More

Finest vegetarian food in Pittsburgh. The Sunday Brunch is legendary. The selection at brunch will overwhelm you. Be sure to select a lighter brunch entree so you have room to try all the salads and desserts. Cost is great and includes tea beverage.

This is a must -do if you want a one of a kind dining experience, or if love antiques, or enjoy creativity or appreciate healthy vegetarian food. Zenith is a quirky and fun restaurant with a delicious buffet of salads and cakes in one part, and an vintage shop on the other side. I'm not a vegetarian and generally I... More

I like to check out quirky places, and vegetarian restaurants seem to always be a good starting point. I discovered the Zenith when looking up vegetarian eating options while planning a trip to Pittsburgh. Once we found the venue (in a residential area) we were delighted with the place! Virtually every square inch of the Zenith is interesting. We spent... More
