Burgers are a very good portion, I actually cut mine in half and take leftover for lunch next day. Wonderful flavor! Nice, neighborhood eatery. Friendly staff!

I love Amel's and go there quite often. I have tried the rack of lamb, grape leaves, bacon wrapped scallops, Mediterranean sole, pasta diablo and my favorite is the Mezze Platter. The fish is always fresh. They always modify my meals to ensure it is gluten free. It is my favorite restaurant and everything on the menu is delicious.

We had reservations for four at 7:00 on a Saturday night. We were seated right away. Loved the beer and cider list. Lots to choose from. I ordered the salmon special. Everything was perfect. Loved the mixed veggies. My husband ordered the special autumn salad. It was amazing! We did have a funny thing happen. Our bread basket caught on... More

Amel's is fantastic. The food is delicious and the service is great. We had an event for family members there and they not only added special touches - like sparking wine for the guests of honor for free - every meal was perfectly done, the service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommend it for lunch, dinner or... More

We have gone twice in the last month because the food was delicious. I got the stuffed banana peppers which were good. They were spicy so I recommend it if you like spicy foods. The second time, I got a mixed grille kabob. This was better. Perfectly cooked and spices were on point. The only thing I would suggest would... More

I was very pleased with this find. My husband had the lamb and thought it was good. It was done to perfection. There was plenty of food too. I recommend the peach chicken. It was delicious and very sweet. We had 3 adults and 3 children and everyone enjoyed their meals. One of the children had spaghetti so if you... More

Fantastic meal every single time! While always busy the service is still superb. Romantic feel and amazing food. The bar side is also great to meet friends or catch a game. The food is authentic but you can still order a burger if it's not your thing. Lots of vegetarian options as well. Good wine selection. I never order chicken... More

Amel's was the first "ethnic" restaurant I can recall visiting as a child. Now 35 years later and it's just as good. Always a great and varied menu with options for non-meat and meat eaters alike. Down home service as well. Excellent. A special shout to to owner Ralph Reiland who is the consummate owner and host. Spent 15 minutes... More

Such a darling place. People from the South Hills swear by this menu. Goat cheese, wrapped in filo and deep fried is like nothing you can ever imagine. Have been going here forever and will never stop!

Had fabulous hummus with ground Lamb and a delicious gyro salad. My family has been eating here since the 1960s and it is just as good, maybe even better, today.
