We stopped in after a campus visit on recommendation from a local. My pastrami was ok , burger was not good.

There is joy in the air and the place invites you in. The staff are upbeat, friendly, welcoming and efficient. Fries are built into the burger and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant might be a chain or franchise, but it stands out almost as one-of-a-kind in the sea of chains and franchises that populate Forbes Avenue.

From the giant local beer to the giant Dagwood Bumstead fries and slaw on kielbasa sandwich on slices of Italian bread to the gooey tater tots with BACON to the whole mess slopped on a piece of butcher's paper in front of you to the "Steelers Country" atmosphere to the location near UPitts, oh hell yeah. One of the few... More

had the famous sandwiches... good, if a little bland, and some beer. Love the number of TV screens with the ball game on, and some fine chicken wings. Good thing I had my Steelers shirt on, otherwise the service might not have been so friendly

Had the Roast Beef. Very Tasty, Go's well with a beer. Would recommend as place to go before the game.

BLT Tots are a MUST! Tater tots were fried to perfection, and topped with at least a whole tomato, plus lettuce, cheese, ranch, and bacon. Yummy! My boys each had a sandwich and not a crumb was left. We'll be back!

Been coming to Pittsburgh lately and hearing about great sandwiches at this place. I was warned up front that it has all the sides in the sandwich(fries and slaw). Sounds great to me. I went with Pastrami and swiss. Big sandwich with nice thick white bread. I ate my first few bites and decided that the fries overwhelmed the other... More

I went to this location before a Pitt basketball game. Even on a Sunday morning the line was out the door. The staff worked hard throughout to serve customers, but you may want to carry out if you are pressed for time. The hot sandwiches are unique, and you can buy alcoholic beverages inside the restaurant when they are open.... More

Spent a long weekend in P-burgh and we had to try Primanti Bros for lunch. Sat at the counter (which was great fun) and had wonderful sandwiches and a cold beer or two. Enjoyed watching them make the sandwiches and had some good/fun banter with the staff. Did I say we enjoyed the sandwiches a lot???

Was'nt paying 600 bucks to the the pitt/penn state game. The next best thing is primanti brothers. The pizza was great so was the nachos and the beer. We had great service even though it was very crowed. Love this place...
