We were leaving the Home & garden Show at the DLC (3.19.17) and found August Henrys on the way back to the parking garage. Great find! The food was fabulous , service was great and pricing was very reasonable-bonus! We would definitely recommend it to our family/friends and I hope to go back soon!

Stopped by for lunch while in town for a convention. Service is good and quick. Our meals were tasty and fairly priced. A good find.

Picked this bar because it was close to The Benedum Center in Pittsburgh. Made reservations, glad we did because bar was packed. Great food, helpful staff, friendly staff. Clean bar, clean restrooms, comfortable seating. Prices in line for cultural district bistros. Great beverage selection, extensive menu selections. Highly recommend this bar.

Stopped at August Henry after attending the Home and Garden show at the convention center. Was seated in the front and was able to watch evening traffic and people go by. Prime rib french dip was good. The blackened catfish po'boy was a bit salty, spicey for my friends taste. Even enjoyed the croutons on the salad, so buttery, which... More

This place isn't shiny and new with upscale deviled eggs and charcuterie that I'm oh so tired of. This is a basic dark wood 70s style bar/restaurant. Burgers are great, beers are cold, martinis are $6 for Friday happy hour, prices are 70s style as well. Service was friendly and great, those ubiquitous warm and welcoming regular Burgh folk. It's... We got burgers. They were stupid (in a good way). They were huge and delicious. Service was great. Big fan. Will eat again.

Stopped in here waiting for my MegaBus. Lots of wood in here with a pub feel. Popular place with friendly and attentive staff. Martini was really good and I had to order another. (Usually only have one) Had a sandwich but bread was tough, almost like if was microwaved too much. Big windows allow one to people watch. Close to... More

It doesn't surprise me that August Henry's is the top 5% of TripAdvisor's best restaurants in Pittsburgh. As a fairly ordinary, everyday restaurant in the sea of swank that gets all of the attention in the city's downtown dining scene, it tends to fly a bit under the radar, though it shouldn't! It's in a prime location on Penn Avenue,... More

Stop then after a Penguins game for a snack hand ordered the brisket sandwich. It came with onion rings a big slab of gouda cheese that was smoked, fabulous BBQ sauce and bacon that was nice and crispy. All inside a sweet toasted roll making for an outstanding sandwich. It was served with a side of homemade thick chip that... More
