The english muffins were amazing, everything else pretty standard. It does have a small menu. Kind of noisy during Sunday Brunch, seating was a little too close for comfort, but I'd go back if I ever have the desire to splurge on eggs and bacon....More

Decent food. Server was excellent. Prices were high. I'd put it closer to 3 dollar signs than 2. Limited selection.

We had a great experience eating dinner at the Commoner Restaurant. It’s set inside the beautiful Hotel Monaco and has a definite Pittsburgh Industrial vibe. Great food and drink menu and vibrant bar scene. All the food we ordered was fantastic especially The NY Strip...More

This restaurant is attached to hotel Monaco. It was styled industrial chic and the ambiance was spot on. I ordered yintz need breakfast which was decently prepared but average. The coffee was trash though.

My daughter and two grand daughters and I were in Pittsburgh on Saturday. The GPS took us several blocks from our destination and we needed breakfast! We were milling around outside the parking garage discussing the situation when a man walked by. I asked if...More

I loved the bar but the service could have been better as I felt ignored due to larger parties that walked in a took over the area. Great beer list, adequate wine selections plus cocktails. Dinner menu has some different options including vegetarian. Breakfast was...More

Had small plates here with three colleagues during a conference and went on a weekday night. Two of us had salad and the third had the roasted cauliflower. Our food was fine and as described on the menu - nothing surprising, good or bad. Our...More

We dined here as guest of the adjoining hotel and thought the vibe and look of the restaurant was promising. While the decor and vibe are on point, both my husband and I found the food to be pretty average and on the heavy side.....More

A co worker and I came here for dinner instead of eating at our hotel. It's a little upscale restaurant with a very helpful and friendly staff. I had the 1/2 chicken and my colleague had the rib eye steak. Both were very good, each cooked...More

Very pleasant atmosphere and very good service for Father’s Day. There are two columns of selections for brunch...one slanted to breakfast and the other towards lunch. We leaned towards breakfast with the crab Benedict, French toast and cereal choices. Everyone was more than satisfied with...More

I don't think they accept reservations for the bar, and they do get busy after work.

Description
At our gastropub, we don’t distinguish between commoners and kings; we just want to feed the good people of Pittsburgh. In the restaurant and at our grab-and-go carvery window, seasonal menus add a modern flair to classic comforts, complemented by a robust selection of local beers and craft spirits. It’s all served in an industrial-inspired setting in downtown Pittsburgh. Come and join us for an uncommonly good time.
