If you know Indian food, you will certainly get that they know what they are doing, and if you are particular about spicy, they seem to hit the mark we look for in our food. We've tried the other new Indian more than once because they are closer, but they just don't make the food as well as Aashiyana. The samosas... More

I stopped in today because I was in the mood for some indian food. They had a buffet set up and the food was not hot and dried out like it was leftover from the day before when no one else came in. I was the only customer in there at 12:30 on a Sunday afternoon. I guess everyone else... More

We visited this while returning from a visit to Koziar's christmas village. This was the nearest Indian restaurant there. Ambiance was good but when food came it was terrible. Lady told us their Navaratn Korma is not sweet but very tasty. When it arrived, it was the worst ever Navaratn Korma we had. Same was for Aaloo Gobi masala, it... More

We are food snobs and eat out more than at home. Asshianna is on our rotation because they have such delicious food. Unless you take your time for dinner, I would recommend getting for take out. The service is slow but the food is hard to match. The best Dal Makhni and chicken mirch tikka Anywhere. Kansas City in Zona... More

My friend has eaten here many times an highly recommended it. The appetizer we chose was the Milajula...containing vegetable pakora, onion bhajia, and samosa. My friend had a lamb dish. I had the chicken Lababdar. All were tasty and spicy as expected. The owner gave us extra rice with our leftovers...made a wonderful lunch the following day! The best part... More

I have been a customer of the Indian restaurant for a while now, since the owners had their old location. This location at 16 South 4th Street is just 2 minutes away from the past one, so even if someone gets mixed up with the past location it's not that far away. It's a spacious restaurant, a nice, clean place... More

We were looking for a good Indian restaurant after a very long driving day... We found this place on Yelp with 5 stars reviews so we were expecting something at least half good... First the address from Yelp was wrong and we search for a few minutes the restaurant on 5th street... We called and we have been told the... More

The soups are excellent, coming from a boiling hot cauldron. The naan is very fresh and light and bubbly. The tandori dishes are excellent, coming out of the oven and sizzling to your table. The food is consistently good, the rice light and fluffy. Indian family food at it's best!

We had gone to Aashiyana many times over the years and last year we heard they 'changed hands." We thought we'd give it a try and when we entered with a bottle of wine in a wine bag, the new owner (presumably). Said, apologetically, "No alcool." We were caught off guard and turned around and left. It only took a... More
