The food is wonderful. Because this restaurant is in a rural setting, guests may assume the owners will be instantly friendly with an "aw-shucks" warmth. Not so on our first visit: the owner who seated us was not very affable but she warmed up a bit by dessert. However, we came for the food - not to get chummy with... More

Four bland main courses. Slow service despite place only being half full. Good bread and salad dressing otherwise skip it.

They take their food very seriously here and it is wonderful and warrants five stars. However, how they treat some of their customers leaves much to be desired. We had a similar experience to a previous poster. We called for a 6:00 reservation and said they could do 6:30. When we arrived the place was mostly empty. Huh?? Upon being... More

Had reservations for 8 PM. Got there 15 minutes early and was seated immediately. Many wonderful choices on the menu. Had steamed mussels, roasted carrots and scallops for our apps. Each one as good as the other. Our dinners were braised brisket (melt in your mouth) duck (delicious) and pork chop (huge and flavorful) ! Too full for dessert, but... More

Sharon and Daniel have been serving Pike County for over 25 years and as hard as it is to believe it gets better and better !! Impossible to select a favorite since everything is delicious.. Reservations usually necessary as this is a very popular restaurant.. GO.. You will never be disappointed!!

Go for the food not the atmosphere! Room is loud and there's an old crowd with loud voices. The octopus appetizer was the best dish! The veggies that accompanied our entree were fresh & delish. Worth the visit

We had a reservation, arrived and the hostess was probably the rudest hostess I have ever experienced. She showed us a very large round table and there were just three of us. I asked her if we could sit at a smaller table, she said no, as it was being saved for someone. After that she became very rude. I... More

I have been to this restaurant a few times, and the food was fantastic. Each item on the menu had a little flare to it, and no matter what I had ordered, it was very tasty! Unfortunately, I will never go back to this restaurant due to the poor service. The woman who greets you at the door is anything... More

The Forks at Twin Lakes is unfailing in serving excellent food. The menu is relatively large and inclusive, fish comes in fresh from NYC and the helpings are generous. Probably the best food in the greater area.

Love this restaurant. Have been here many times and each time the food was delicious. Sour dough bread was great and plentiful and the brisketw was veryg good. The duck was delicious and dessert was wonderful. A little out of the way but well worth the trip.
