We always enjoy the food and atmosphere at The Wellsboro House. Formally a bar it has transformed into primarily a restaurant with good cheese steaks, burgers and home made chips. Large TVS to watch a game, and plenty of room for large families. Enjoy.

We ate at the Wellsboro House for my boyfriends birthday dinner. The staff was extremely friendly. The food was served quick and was delicious. A family referred us to eat at the Wellsboro House and it was a great choice.

Excellent food and beer from their microbrewery. The owners and staff treated us like family. Clam chowder and seafood dishes are great..Best restaurant in Wellsboro!

We have been to Wellsboro MANY times, but never ate here. It was Dicken's weekend, so every establishment was busy and full. Our meals were very good, a little slow for service, but considering the weekend, it was fine. This restaurant is also a brewery, so you can try their own crafted beers. The one fault I would have is... More

Great place to have lunch. Service is very good. We have eaten there a few times. They have a variety of good apps. Carol

We enjoyed a lovely meal in this pub which has its own micro brewery across the street in the old train station. Many selections on the menu and pub-like decor. This is definitely a jeans type place, and the food was very good. Two people at my table had steaks -- thick and tasty.

Stopped for dinner on a Monday evening, well before the NFL game. Restaurant was busy, good for them but not for me. Ate at the bar and the service was horrible. After many apologies and a long wait, received my dinner. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with a side of cole slaw, no fries. Burger arrived with a huge amount... More

Had a nice enjoyable dinner at the Wellsboro House. I had a salad with grilled chicken. It was good and very typical. I have a friend who is gluten free and they had no problem accommodating her. Many brewed beers and ales on tap. The atmosphere was alive and the staff very friendly. I would go back!

This is an interesting place. A tavern near an old railroad station. The good was good. The service our night was very slow. Waited 45 minutes to get our food and tables that came in after us got served before us. Spoke to the locals and they said our experience was unusual. Apparently they grew their own beer, though we... More

This place is a true blast from the past. Great bar area, friendly service. Even chatted with the owner. Only had drinks this time but the food looked great. Home brews made in their own micro brew across the street. Sampled a couple. Very good. Can't wait to go back to eat next time.
